I went there in 07 08 i believe it was and they were great but i think they relocated with a different phone number..do anyone know where they relocated to?
He was aware that I was without insurance for a month while between jobs. He was aware that I already paid $750 for COBRA prior month. He gave me a script for a medication that was $700. After the pharmacy recommended, I simply asked him to LOWER the dosage on the script he had already seen me for and written. All he had to do was call the pharmacy to *LOWER* the dosage, so that I can pay $350 instead of $700 and he WOULD NOT do so without seeing me *AGAIN* ----> for another $225 for the visit!!!! He had already seen me and gave me the paper script!! I also told him that Gabapentin 400mg makes me extremely sleepy and dizzy. So what does he do? He gives me Horizant 600mg...the same medication but extended dosage. Stay away from this guy, go elsewhere!! He is absolutely clueless and does not care AT ALL about his clients!! *Originally posted in 2016*
Treated my pain due to 3 herniated disks. Very rude with no "bedside manner". Accused me of being dishonest about my treatment and actually inferred that I was a drug addict. My daughter had to tell him off. His treatment actually helped me but I have since gone to another pain specialist who treats me like a human being.
It was suggested by Monica that my PCP speak with Dr. Silverman regarding my character and my health condition, as It appeared to me I was being judged or placed into category of a drug addict. After I told the office they were rude and I will not be returning... at that point Dr. Silverman decided to return the call to my PCP. Why did he not do this prior to me saying I would not be his patient?? He is arrogant, and rude. I guess I hurt his feelings after finding another pain management doctor that actually cares and is very nice, respectful, and not judgmental. This NEW doctor actually looked at my medical records prior to scheduling me for a visit so they can get an idea of my condition. I suggest find a doctor who cares.
Office staff is amazing! Dr Silverman on the other hand is a bit harsh. Doesn't seem to really listen and his bedside could use great improvement.
After 17 years of seeing him the office permanently closed without notice in November 2017.
He has been tremendously helpful in controlling my pain
Dr. Silverman is fine, Dr. Sina is acts as a therapist. If I was suffering from emotional issues, I would go to church. I would recommend finding a less superstitious office. Dr. Sina's religion interferes with his ability to observe symptoms. This translates into them providing the minimum possible service based out of social prejudice. I like my doctor to be fluent in pharmacology associated to the patient.
The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. You can tell they actually care about the patients as actual people and not just a name on a chart. Dr. Silverman takes his time and doesn't just write out a script to get rid of you as other doctors have done to me in the past. I have lower back pain and knee pains from a car accident when I was a teen and have never found a practice that I was comfortable with until now. I highly recommend going here if you enjoy having a place where you can build a professional relationship with the entire staff. As well as, receive the proper and effective treatment.
This office is particularly unfriendly. The receptionist is a jerk. He is unprofessional and loud when dealing with you in the small waiting room. I have medicare and they required a payment in advance for procedures even though I get billed for 20% after medicare negotiations. I moved from out of state and brought my medical records and MRI's showing what was wrong with my back. I chose Dr. SIlverman because he seemed professional in everything I read about him and I liked the fact that he wasn't a large prescriber of pain meds so I liked that this was a legit pain management office. I had been on a small amount of pain medication that I took 1/2 of 2 to 3 times a day because of an accident that resulted with L4/L5 L5/S1 herniated disks. During the first office visit, the Dr. Silverman asked me if I had been sexually abused and I told him yes one time as a middle school student and he said that he couldn't prescribe pain meds because I was high risk due to the sexual abuse!!! He then asked me was I addicted to pain meds and would I get sick if I stopped taking them. I said no. I guess his plan was to discontinue me from pain meds then but I just thought that was because it was my first visit. I continued to see him for epidural shots etc. for a couple of months (I made my previously prescribed pain meds last) but then was told he was going on vacation and was too far booked out to get me in for another epidural shot within the next 4-5 weeks after he told me he would no longer prescribe pain meds. That doctor and that office did not care about my pain even when they knew I needed the epidural they just blew me off. So disappointing. But the bright side was that in all of my disappointment and frustration with Dr. SIlverman it forced me to look for another pain management doctor. I found a top rate doctor at Broward Imperial Health in Ft. Lauderdale which I knew wouldn't be a high prescriber of pain meds because of the affiliation with the hospital. Because of my back condition the new dr. prescribed a low dose/count of pain meds per month of the amount I requested. I then discontinued myself off of pain meds last summer after excellent treatment and procedures from this new dr.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
