Dr Hammond was helpful with my vertigo but after gaining my confidence after several visits he gave me a breast exam!!! I was stunned and afraid to talk.

Where do I start. Trying to get thru you get voicemail. They require a referral before your appointment. OK then they schedule you without finding out if the time is suitable..they call leave no message but expect you to be a mind reader and show for an appointment you know nothing about !!! Then tell you they are booked and will try to squeeze you in somewhere! You get to the office..finally after all this aggravation and then wait hours to see the doctor. The worse experience I have ever had wit office staff and making an appointment. Doesn't need this stress recovering from brain surgery, seizures etc.?! Find another neurologist. They don't give s hoot about their patients.

We received an appointment within an hour because I told them my husband could only see "black" in one eye. I knew it was serious and so did his staff. He was seen almost immediately and was diagnosed with a detached retina and immediately called the surgeon in Baton Rouge for an appointment the next day. He also had the surgery the next day. Thank for Dr. Thomas' expertise in his diagnosis. The office staff is excellent in their courtesy and knowledge also. Would recommend highly to anyone.

Dr. Hammond is a very knowledgeable, dedicated and hardworking physician. I have been his patient for many years because I have a permanent back problem and I can say with confidence that he had treated my problems in the most medically efficient and productive way. He always is current on the latest medical studies and will, on occasion refer to them when I have a treatment or medication question. Dr. Hammond isn't on an assembly line; he cares for each patient himself and individually.
