Christine Aziz's Online Review Report Card

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Aziz. She is very thorough and conscientious. Also, the staff was extremely kind and accommodating.

This is more a comment about the system for which she works: I've never been able to meet Dr Aziz. Based on the referral by AdventHealth, after my existing AdventHealth practitioner, Dr Judith Mathura, left the Advent system, I attempted to make a "new patient" appointment online with Dr Aziz, which was confirmed.  Dr Aziz's office contacted me and canceled, saying they are "no longer accepting patients from Dr Mathura's practice. I called the office to make an appointment. They were willing to do so until I gave them my name, which they recognized from just canceling my online appointment. They told me they contacted me to cancel the appointment I made online because Advent scheduled it and they couldn't accept new patients who were already in the Advent system because that left no space for new patients (I assume new to the Advent system), or existing patients. "So what am I, chopped liver?" I will definitely find a provider OUTSIDE Advent, and were I to have to be hospitalized.

She is thorough caring, and patient. Answered all my questions.

A new patient packet is required to get an appoitment, why cant we fill this out the day of the appoitment? Or better yet, electronically like other advent health doctors? Office staff is rude and will not help.

Have been using Dr Aziz for a number of years and am extremely happy with her. She is always thorough, concerned with my health and explains my plan of treatment. I recommend her to others who need a caring physician.

Called to make a new patient appointment. Apparently with their call center. Not their front desk receptionist. But you hired this company to help you. So everything they imput should be in your system, correct? Not only that but they should be aware of how to make a new patient appointment. I made this appointment over a week ago. Was just called that it's canceled. They need all my info. They have nothing their call center took down. I need to come in for paperwork. I had to ask if they could email me the paperwork. Juat extremely unprofessional and unorganized. The receptionist wasn't rude but she was very robotic. Just doing her job. No care.

Dr Aziz is an excellent physician with a comforting "bedside manner", even when visit is done remotely. As a more recent resident of Deland, I feel very pleased to have Dr. Aziz as my primary physiician.

As a new resident here, the doctor is very kind and helpful. This review is not towards her but rather her office; in particular her rude abrasive cold-mannered nurse. She is abrupt and short; not kind AT ALL. Your office will lose patients because of her. I will be transferring all four of our records from this office BECAUSE OF HER and do not recommend this office. In addition, the doctors policy sadly is unagreeable; I cannot make constant follow-up appointments and dish out my co-pay when things can be discussed with a quick phone call. Very different from what I'm used to; either way your nurses' bedside manner is uncalled for!

Find someone else! She does not see new patients until she has received and reviewed your previous medical records. She will then contact you for an appointment after she approves you. As she "does not want to take on any issues that may not fit within her comfort zone". WOW !

I have not had a Primary in 10 years and finally got around to it. Not too sure what everyone is complaining about. My experience has been smooth. I called five different offices and Dr. Aziz was the one able to see me the soonest. The office is clean and prompt.
