Good in emergency room

I went to the Er this past Wednesday to have an abscess lanced and drained in a private area. He came in and introduced himself which he seemed pleasant at first until I was asked about my medical history. Then the visit took a quick turn for the worst. He was very condescending with his questions and comments. Told me certain treatment options were unnecessary. Which they are due to the severity of the condition I told him about. Also I informed him that I was told I have hidradenitis suppurativa and he brush that off making it as if it was not a big deal. I inform him that with this condition I've have 22 abscess last year and 7 this year alone. He did not care. He was very rude to the nurse also. And seemed to not like the fact that while the nurse was seeking questions I was answering them the correct medical way and he kept commenting after me with an attitude saying the same thing I told the nurse. If you are going to teach a nurse that has never seen a condition first hand teach them right. Also I feel as though he thought I worked in this particular hospital due to the color of scrubs I had on which is his attitude was so unacceptable. Now to the procedure of draining the abscess, he started with a bad attitude that he was going to numb me so don't move and stick a needle in the area to aspirate the abscess. So he injected the numbing medication and did not wait until I went numb and he stuck the needle in and it was very painful. Once done, he threw the needles into the sharps container and walked right out of the room leaving me exposed to anyone walking by. I was highly upset but in too much pain and I could not want to get out of there. I hope that he treats other patients with more respect than I was shown.

Very knowledgeable and pleasant. Listens to patients needs unlike the rest of the aventist doctors.

Very professional. Very courteous personsable. He explained what he was doing. He knew exactly what he was doing. They need more dictors like this working for Aventist, Florida Hospitals it would definately bring in patients and Florida Hospital Flagler wouldnt have such a bad reputation. There are some really rude and unprofessional P.As and doctors misdiagnosing patients. I personally would never be a patient at that facility again. However, as it was an emergency situation, I took my friend here with much reluctance. I was going to bring him to Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine. This is the only hospital that didnt misdiagnosis me and treat me poorly.
