Bryan Wasserman's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Wasserman is not only Uncaring, he’s pompous. I also didn’t find him particlarly knowledgeable. I had to Tell him that if I was to have a lumpectomy I would need radiation, but if I had a mastectomy I wouldn’t. This is elementary. He should have known this!!! His office staff is run by his wife who argues with everyone. She keeps her sliding window closed and if you have a question you have to stand to the side (not in front) of her window and wait for her to open it and talk with her. I waited 20 minutes and all that time she was having a personal conversation with one of her own kids. Outrageous!

My wife saw Dr. Bryan J. Wasserman for chest pains. We were worried these were symptoms of a heart attack especially since both her mother and sister died of heart disease. Dr. Wasserman asked her some questions and then told her that all she was having was nothing more than panic attacks and that she needed to relax more. He suggested that we take a vacation. We listened. We went on vacation to Ireland and on our last day there, my wife had a massive coronary. She was hospitalized at St. Vincent's in Dublin and the doctors there felt that those "panic attacks" were not panic attacks after all. I guess I will never understand why Dr. Wasserman didn't send us to see a cardiologist, but instead told us that we should ignore the signs and go on vacation! My wife died 3 days later. I hold Dr. Bryan Wasserman responsible for my wife's death. Horrible Horrible Doctor! I saw Dr. Bryan Wasserman for a chronic cough that would keep me up at night and send me into coughing fits any time of day. It was not only most embarrassing, it also wreaked havoc on all aspects of my life. People avoided me like the plague. I'm a non smoker, single and 28 years old; I shouldn’t be coughing like a 80 year old man who smoked for 60 years. Dr. Wasserman examined me and then said since I had it for 10 months already it's probably nothing. He then told me to "live with it,” and that I should see him in a year for a checkup. The next week I saw another doctor who sent me for a series of tests and one test found that I had reflux. I was put on a simple over-the-counter medication and I’m now living without this cough. Dr. Wasserman never took the time nor did he have the inclination to help me. He's an insensitive, uncaring human being and never should have gone into medicine.

I was a patient of Dr. Wasserman's until he went concierge---I chose to select a new physician and have an appointment in several weeks. I am going to be out of town for five weeks and prior to my new physician's appointment, one of my prescriptions needs to be refilled. Dr. Wasserman refused to provide me with the script I needed stating that i am no longer a patient of his. To me, this is most unprofessional and extremely poor medical concern. I need this medication for my good health.

Months later when I left FL and went back home I saw my dr. & to make a long story short, found out I had Stage 4 Lung Cancer. My dr. asked me if Dr. Bryan Wasserman suggested a CT scan. No he didn't & I never thought of asking. Dr. Bryan Wasserman is incompetent!

Not just an excellent doctor...but he is there when you need him...my spouse was sick on a Friday afternoon and Dr. Wasserman was just leaving the office..he took off his jacket and tie...he called the hospital...he made arrangements so that we did not have to wait in the admissions office...and the nurses told us he was there checking on my husband "at the crack of dawn".....he is also a great diagnostician He got the dosage absolutely correct for my blood pressure medicine with the first Rx....(I had been told by others that it is most unusual )

Dr. Wasserman is an okay doctor - not great, but okay. He's actually so full of himself that he can be very irritating. But I could put up with that. What I can't put up with is his wife, who runs his office. She is not only rude, she's insulting! There's this glass window in the reception area that leads to the office. The window has opaque glass - so you can't see if anyone knows you're even there! I made the awful mistake - I broke the cardinal rule of the office - of sliding the window to let Dr. Wasserman's wife know that I was here for my appointment, because otherwise she wouldn't have seen me. And as soon as I did that, she screamed at me telling me that she knew I was there and that I would have to wait until SHE was ready to slide the window open. When I said that I didn't know this rule, she continued to scream saying that if I couldn't "behave" myself I would have to leave the office. I ended up walking out of the office on my own. I didn't do anything wrong. This woman is a psycho. Stay away from Dr. Byran Wasserman and his psycho wife!

Dr. Wasserman is an excellent doctor. However, his wife, who is the office manager, leaves a lot to be desired. She is rude.
