I am grateful to have found this caring doctor, who understood my complicated problem of having a Serratia Marcecens lung infection and being allergic to nearly every antibiotic. Along with Mayo Clinic, Dr. Moritz found the IV drug Ertapenem. I had an IV port inserted at Bethesda Hospital East and started the 7 day treatment with this very powerful antibiotic. Dr. Moritz prepped me with 50 mg of Benadryl before each infusion. I completed my treatment yesterday and know I will feel better soon, thanks to the excellent care of Dr. Moritz. I highly recommend her, and her staff is just wonderful, as well.
