Dov Pickholtz's Online Review Report Card

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Pickholtz for many years and he and his office assistant, Sharon are exceptional.

Dr pickholtz actually listens. He is sharp, knowledgeable and most important is dedicated to doing his best for you. For a short time he had a second assistant, to who was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. As he does professionally, he also does administratively and terminated her after a short period of time. Sharon, the office manager is a sweetheart. I recommend Dr pickholtz and his office WITHOUT RESERVATION.

I have been a Florida resident for the past year, and going through the difficult process of finding a new primary care doctor as well as a couple of specialists. I have had a couple of visits with a primary care in Palm Beach, but both times I left the office feeling that I have been talked down to and not really listened to. Based on that, I decided to start looking for it a primary care provider who listens and treats people with respect. I always ask people who I interact with down here who their primary care doctor is and Dr Pickholtz name came up. Today I had my first appointment with Dr. Pickholtz, and I can honestly say, that my search for a new primary care provider is over. Sharon, his assistant was amazingly nice and efficient, and the doctor himself, reminded me of how doctors were, before they all joined big medical groups, and the patients became no more than a number. I definitely was not made to feel like a number, I was not talked down to, and I was listened to. If you are a new resident to Florida, or an existing resident, looking for a new doctor, I highly recommend Dr Pickholtz.

2 DAYS AGO I WAS ADMITTED IN DELRAY BEACH HOSPITAL WITH BAD ABDOMINAL PAIN. THIS DOCTOR TREATED WITH UTTER DIS REGARD. I WAS IN A WEAKENED STATE. HE DOES NOT LISTEN TO YOU. HE THINKS YOUR A DOLT. A PROUD MAN. HIPPOCRATIC OATH " DO NO HARM ". NAH GO HOME I SPOKE TO DR,C CHAMBERLAIN GASTROENTEROLOGIST. WE THINK YOU OUGHT TO GO HOME EVENTHOUGH I WAS GOING TO STAY AT HOSPITAL FO OBSERVATION OVERNIGHT. I AM REFRACTORY. I WAS GIVEN PRESCRIPTION. I COULD HAVE DIED. UTTER INDIFFERENCE. " HE WAS DOING HIS ROUNDS " MONEY MAKER! I COULD NOT EAT NEVER RECEIVED MY MEDICINES. BUT GO HOME VITALS ARE GOOD. HORRIBLE AT HOME I FELT LIKE DYING. INDIFFERENCE BY 2 DOCTORS AND A HOSPITAL. THIS IS ER! IT IS NOT SAFE. STAY AWAY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. HE WANTS MONEY WITH LEAST EFFORT. I AM REFRACTORY HE GAVE ME PRESCRIPTIONS THAT IN MY CONDITION COULD HAVE KILLED ME. '

Dr Dov Pickhoktz has been our primary car doctor for nearly a year and we’re very glad we chose him when we moved here in 2021. His staff especially Sharon and Bebe are always very helpful and professional. I would highly recommend him.

I'm truly blessed to have found such an outstanding Doctor! I've been a patient of Dr. Dov Pickholtz for years now. He's absolutely the BEST in my eyes. Very caring, extremely intelligent, thinks outside the box and funny, thank God For his sense of humor when I was feeling down or in the hospital! Sharon, in the front office is exceptional, I love her! Such a kind heart and always so sweet and caring! Sharon will always see the positive outcome and make you feel so much better! Appointments are easy to schedule and my calls are always answered quickly, monthly meds are never an issue and with the utmost care and concern. 💙❤

Was holding off on sending this review because the doctor is incredible and so knowledgeable but the front desk is impossible to reach and unhelpful. Monthly prescriptions are nearly impossible to refill via email and telephone. Contacting this office feels like cracking the Da Vinci code. Check the weather, horoscope for today and leave out a peace offering for whatever god you pray to before trying to reach them. There are many things I’d sooner rely on— a coffee filter in place of a parachute being one of them.

I do not write reviews, but I am compelled to write one for Dr. Dov Pickholtz and his amazing office manager, Sharon. My husband and I found Dr. Dov Pickholtz through a referral. At the time, my husband was very ill and we had gone to several doctors. The only thing they all did was prescribe more meds and more surgeries. It is rare to find a doctor that actually is kind, compassionate and over the top brilliant. But we were blessed to have found that with Dr. Dov. When we walked into his office for the first time I knew we found a doctor that was going to help my husband in spite of the chronic serious medical challenges that he had. My husband was on 15 meds and he got rid of most of them the first visit. Every time he was in the hospital Dr. Dov was always there checking on him. He would often pull up a chair and with care and compassion have discussions about his medical conditions. Eventually my husband passed, but I know I was given an extra year of life with him because of Dr. Dov. When you go for an appointment, you get as much time as you need. He answers questions with a kind heart. Dr. Pickholtz believes in a patient centric approach. If you need a specialist, he communicates with them, so everyone is on the same page. He is changing the paradigm of our health care system by truly caring for the health and well being of each of his patients. Additionally, a good doctor isn't very efficient without an amazing staff to support him. Sharon fills that role with confidence kindness and compassion. Together they are a team that works ! If you are looking for a doctor that you can really trust and who will really care, call Dr. Dov Pickholtz. I guarantee that you will not regret it. SG

Dr Dov has always been willing to spend as much time as needed when I go to see him at his office. If you ever find yourself waiting to see him it is only because he is taking his time with another patient, which doesn't bother me at all! He also has great office staff. Sharon at the front desk is FANTASTIC!!!
