E. Susan Barish's Online Review Report Card

We are new to the area and have appts for 17th. I need meds for B/P and my husband doesn't feel well. They gave me the answering machine and will get back 24hrs so what do you do???????

Horribly run office. Cancelled my bone density tests several times due to lack of personnel or equipment. Repeatedly called for my medical records and it took weeks before anyone responded to my requests. Dont go to this practice.

I know see only Dr. Barrish, not any of the other Dr's. She's the best.

I went to Dr. Barish with a problem many years ago. She did not order any test for what turned out to be related to my symptoms. I was later referred for hypothyroid testing by another physician. She misdiagnosed me and gave me a high dose of meds unnecessarily.

This is the worst office and Dr. that I have ever been to. Absolutely unprofessional. They do not pick up the phone or return calls. Sr. Barrish has far too many patients. She should be less freedy and more patient oriented. Could not even answer a call from my surgeon.

While I do believe Dr Barish is a good person and practitioner, her office staff are horrendous. No common courtesy to return emails or phone calls and good luck getting a hold of anyone if you need anything. I have been calling and leaving voicemails with several office staff for months to get a script for my grandfather who has been a patient of hers for decades and I’m still fighting to get it. Ridiculous.

Dr Barish cares more for her patients that pay cash for 24/7 service. If u have an appointment u can wait 1hr until she sees them first. She rushes u in and out. She doesn't pay any concern why u came to see her.when u go back to see her she has no idea why u came back. She just has u come back to charge insurance your visits. I have a family member who has alot of medical issues and she just ignores what he's saying like his an idiot. I'm saving u from going. U are switched to so many nurse practices and no one knows what the other is doing. The front desk is rude and useless

This was a first visit to establish a primary physician in our new home State of Florida.Dr B is a professional delight. Her knowledge advice & care is fabulous.

I have been going to Dr. Barish for 20 years and she is wonderful. She is very caring she has assistance on her staff that call me to see how I am doing and if I am having any issues. You feel as though you are part of a family.

Horrible experience w office. I recently had thr in Oct and Dec of 2020. They never sent my pre op results to the surgeon coordinator both times. My surgery was almost canceled. They never return calls. They didn’t return the call from my surgery coordinator. I have a new primary dr who 3 times has requested medical records w no reply. I am currently recovering from two hip replacements and will have to pick up my records in person as they do not respond to my calls This has been the worst experience! I leave messages w her nurse w no replies. I would never recommend dr Barish at this point. My medical case worker even had a difficult time reaching the staff and obtaining my records. I am switching primary dr and filing a complaint
