Dr Simon fantastic hernia surgery. His staff.nurses Maria,Tania Louis, and his anesthetist were top drawer. TYVM
My name is Lukas, I’m from the UK and I was referred to Dr Rodriquez’ office by a doctor from the ER in delray when I visited for a small lump just below my armpit as advised by my insurance company. On my first visit to Dr Rodriquez office after an hour wait in the waiting room he touched the lump for around 30 or so seconds before confirming that it was my lymph node and it needed to be removed sooner rather than later and scheduled me in for a surgery which I was told would be performed under a local anesthetic. (No other alternatives other than surgery we’re mentioned to me) Fast forward to the the date of the surgery (8th December 2022) I arrive right on time, I was checked in and told to wait in the waiting room which I did for 1 hour before being taken through to what I would describe as the pre surgery room. I changed into a gown which was provided and had some checks done by the nurse before I was told to wait for Dr Rodriguez. Just under two hours later i was finally visited by Dr Rodriquez who once again felt the lump in my arm and decided that it could no longer be done under a local anesthetic and they had to put me to sleep for the operation. Dr Rodriguez then told me I had to visit a “quest center” to have blood work done before this operation could take place and wrote me a prescription to do so. I scheduled an appointment at Quest in Boca Raton. I was told that the prescription written didn’t make any sense and my blood could not be taken on that day. I called Dr Rodriguez’ office to try to sort this issue where a very lovely helpful lady managed to sort me a new prescription and sent it directly to a different quest location in delray. Shortly after Dr Rodriquez office received my blood results the same lady called me to schedule my new surgery date under a general anesthetic for Tuesday 17th January 2023. I received a phone call on the morning of my surgery saying they were behind and to come one hour later than my scheduled time which I did. After my arrival I checked in and was told again to sit in the waiting room which I did for around 45 minutes before being taken through to the pre surgery room where I waited for at least 1 and a half hours before actually being taken through my have my surgery. fast forward a few days after my surgery I had to schedule my own appointment for my stitches to be removed which I scheduled for Tuesday 31st of January exactly 2 weeks after my surgery. I arrived at 9:30am, checked in then I sat in the waiting area for 1 hour before being taken through (I feel like a pattern is immuring here). The lady that took me through did some checks on me then told me the nurse would be with me shortly. 45 minutes later the nurse came in and I had my stitches removed in about 3 minutes. I was told my wait was because they were waiting for the results of my surgery that had not come through yet. I was assured that I would get a phone call the same day to discuss my results. It’s now the evening of the 5th of February and I still have heard nothing of my surgery from Dr Rodriguez office. Comical really. I will say that a lot of the nurses I dealt with were extremely lovely people, they made me feel comfortable and did take care of me when I was under their care. I just wanted to share my experience with anyone thinking about having something they are genuinely worried about on their body looked at by Dr Rodriquez office because it is quite possible you will also be given the run around and still be left in the dark 3 weeks after your surgery.
My husband went here for a wound on his leg for 3 years. All they did was put daikens on it and wrap it. Dr Simon was the only doctor there with any sense. When I begged them to do something else they finally decided to do a graft. But then stopped it. And started doing daikens again. Nothing they did. Helped. They discharged him with no notice. And no results. Nothing but a big waste of time and $$$. They billed a lot of. Money to the insurance co. Would not recommend this wound care center. They don't care about you. *one star
Excelente todo el personal, la atención sin duda la mejor. Gracias Lourdes
Not only the best surgeons but the best staff in the world if I had to do it all over again I wouldn't like it but I'd want to be done here much love
I learned a lot from my experience here, I had enjoyed it very much! The only comment I have is that there should be more time dedicated to completing and analysing USMLE/NBME questions. Group discussions about question content and structure would go a long way in preparing us for our exams. Perhaps instead of 2 lectures/week, there can be one day w/ lecture and another day w/ questions.
I wish I could say something positive about Dr Rodriguez, but so many lies came out of his mouth, first he wanted to do some skin grafts on my father's toes, which he never did, never used this mist for my father's hip, or even regrow his toes, all lies, he has said all the time, not going back to him.
The atmosphere was great, really clean facility, and the staff was AMAZING! I don’t EVER leave reviews, that should say it all. Recommend 1000%!
Staff is polite and knowledgeable. All three surgeons are excellent wound care experts. Highly recommended.
Every one was very helpful and courteous . Dr.Simon Was especially helpful and concerned.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
