When I felt that the doctor may have been over medicating my husband on several blood pressure pills, I called his office for two days trying to get help. My calls were taken by the office, promises of call backs were made, but I never received a call back. This strong energetic man lost all his strength, kept falling asleep, and still no help from the doctor. I called the ambulance, he was taken to the hospital, where he passed away in a few hours. I will never know if some advice from this doctor would have made a difference, but my desperate calls for help were ignored.

The doctor, after my husbands initial consultation advised him to have an angioplasty. Dr. Nascimento performed it on August 31 2021. The doctor said a stent would be too risky and sent him home with various medications. Several were for blood pressure. Initially, he felt somewhat better, but this man who was building fences the week before, suddenly had no strength, was tired all the time, and had an extremely low blood pressure count. I called the office for advice at 9AM and left a message. No callback! I called again at 3PM, no callback! This went on for two days. Trying to get advice from this office was a nightmare. Neither the doctor, nor the staff returned my calls. My husband died on Oct 22, 2021. Maybe the stent wasn’t too risky. Maybe a callback advising me of a change in medication would have prevented his suffering. I will never know for sure, but if a cardiologist office doesn’t return calls asking for advice, find another doctor quickly!

After posting the initial review, based on the first visit, things quickly went down hill. Dr Nascimento did an angioplasty and felt that a stent was risky, so he sent my husband home with several medications. Many were for pressure. Soon, this man who was building fences the week before, had no strength, no energy, and very low blood pressure. I called his office for advise two days in a row. Was promised callbacks that never came. My husband died a week later. Was the stent risky? Would a returned call for help made a difference? I’ll never know, but if a Cardiologist cannot return a desperately needed call for help, find a doctor who will.

Excellent workouts. Great staff. Recommend this for everyone.

My Husband has been a patient for over 10 years. Doctor Nascimento is the best, the staff are friendly and helpful. I always recommend him to friends and neighbors.

I'm speaking on behalf of my mother. I'm not giving her name. This place is horrible. My mom has a bad heart. Everytime she calls them up she gets the answering machine. Even during business hours. They never ever call her back. She's had heart surgery and yet can't even get her doctor to call her when she tries to call them. She ran out of her medication for her heart and she tried calling for 2 weeks to let them know to refill her meds. She left over 15 messages, never once did they call her back. I have my mom changing doctors. I don't feel comfortable having her being treated by this Dr and staff anymore. They're bad news!

Dr. Nasciemento and Dr. Torres are both caring and excellent doctors. Whichever doctor I interact with, I always feel tthat they're empathetic and concerned about me. Their staff is very professional and caring.

I have known Dr. Nascimento for years. We worked together in the past. He is a wonderful Dr who I would highly recommend. However I only gave 2 stars, not the 5 that Dr. Nascimento deserves, because of one of his office staff, who works in his office. On multiple occasions she has been unbelievably rude and unprofessional toward me for months. Shes consistent. I spoke with her today reg a bill, not only did she give me completely inaccurate information, (which I since clarified online), when I questioned her, she said (very loudly) she would give me billing # and have manager call me. She then hung up on me. Noone called me., nor did she give me the billing number. It saddens me to say that I will be seeing a new cardiologist from here forward, due to her. I am done dealing with her. I am dealing with to much else right now. After all, I went there for help. Incompetence and rudeness are not a good combination. I will miss Dr. Nascimento.

Really exceptionally caring, professional, thorough staff. Any superlative you can think of applies. One side note, there is both an inside and an outside waiting area. The outdoor area is covered.

One of the best cardiologists in the county. Proof is in meeting him and talking to him.
