List of Ian Goldbaum's Reviews
What a gem! Sparkling clean office. Very together and organized. Dr. Goldbaum is a real professional and clearly knows his stuff. The staff is friendly and efficient. I am delighted to have them in my life.
I came in with plantar fasciitis. The doctor charged me $330 for laser treatments he said was not covered by Medicare and then $560 for orthotics. Also $50 for a jar of “medical food” pills. Total rip off. Plus his offices keep all the doors open and you have no privacy. Go elsewhere.
I have been seeing Dr. Goldbaum for nine months for a very common foot ailment, and despite spending a lot of $$$ on co-payments, treatments, orthotics, and other things not covered by my insurance, I am no better off today than when I first began with Dr. Goldbaum. Dr. Goldbaum is very personable, and he seems to be competent, and his office is very well appointed. However, the staff seems very disorganized, and there is constant turnover, and it always seems like its someone's first day on the job (as in they do not know how to operate the equipment, or provide treatments). I like Dr. Goldbaum, but he just wasn't able to help me. And the last straw for me was that Dr. Goldbaum's staff constantly gets the billing messed up and I need to spend a lot of time on the phone with my insurance getting the billing straightened out. I am now looking for another foot & ankle specialist.
This review is to Dr. Ian Goldbaum’s character. Our 15 year old grandson was struggling with a tie down device on a hot airport tarmac . Dr Goldblaum noticed Jameson struggling and came over to help. He stayed with Us until he freed all 3 devises. We were complete strangers, yet Dr G Took out his tools, rolled up his sleeves and helped us. This kind of behavior speaks volumes to character!! At our first sign of foot discomfort we will become patients. Thank you again Dr G for your help , kindness and enthusiasm towards strangers.
I broke my toe- the big one.. I did it Friday night.. the pain was horrific.. I call Dr. Goldbaum who knowing I am immune compromised (on dialysis) did not want me to go to an emergency room or other clinic and be exposed to COVID.. so.. the man was kind enough to open his office Saturday Morning at 8am and treat my busted toe. I was in horrid pain so bad I could not think. He examined me, injected my toe with some concoction, splinted it, gave it cold laser therapy and put it in a boot. By that night the pain relief was dramatic, by Sunday morning it was 70% better (meaning less pain). He followed up with me on Monday and got me into his office at 7:30am before any other patients arrived- he was very careful to not allow me to be exposed to COVID .. I was out of his office by 8:15- cold laser treatment, xray and all.. Dr. Goldbaum is a gdsend.. the best that has ever been..
Bad Doctor..This guy will have you coming for prolonged, unnecessary visits in order to give you unnecessary injections each time. I finally got wise to his ‘‘get rich” operation when months down the road my condition became worse than when I started, losing confidence in his methods and ability. He’s a good salesman with questionable ethics. My advise...stay clear.
Terrible Doctor, only interested in the Money!! Self-verified patient of Dr. Ian S Goldbaum - Posted on February 1st, 2020 As you’ve probably read in some other reviews. This doctor loves to give injection after injection after injection. Being a type 1 diabetic these steroid injections blew my blood sugars into the 300 to 400s, for a week to 10 days after each injection. Yet this doctor wanted to continue. I spoke to my Endocronoligist and he said to stay away from this guy and find yourself a Real doctor. Only interested in extended treatment, not curing your problem.

great treatment. wonderful efficient staff. Dr. G has a real friendly approach and seemed to be genuinely concerned with my treatment. The office staff was outstanding in every visit! I would definitely recommend the Dr. for any treatment needed for the foot or ankle.
The care I received from Dr. Goldbaum was good, unfortunately a mistake from his ancillary staff left me very disappointed. I was told very clearly that they took my insurance but when I got billed from my insurance company this was Not the case. The bill was sizable and there was no negotiation with the Doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
