Jeffrey Newman's Online Review Report Card

As a physician he is not the worst. However, I am writing this review to discuss having a diverse practice. Few years ago, I had an interview with the physician as an ARNP. I only met with his practice manager and I now know why. While at a networking event, another provider their past interview to me and that they only met with the Practice manager. It came to my knowledge that Dr.Newman only hires fairskin providers to work with him per other healthcare professionals. This review is to educate patients and future candidates with ethnicities different than him to not even waste your time. In Florida's melting pot, it's pertinent to find someone who caters to patients and individuals of all ethnic groups or your care will be in jeopardy. Sadly, racial bias still exists in Healthcare today.

Jeff Newman saved my life. I suffered from a Mitral Valve Prolapse and some other heart complications in April of 2023. Jeff performed open heart surgery on May 3rd and repaired my valve. He was attentive before and after the surgery and clear in his explanation of the process. Jeff, I can't thank you enough!

Dr Jeffery Newman is an excelent Surgeon. Patient, respectful and easy going It was a pleasure to have him do my Mytral Valve repair.

A year ago today my father died tragically after a heart procedure performed by Dr. Newman at Delray Medical Center. My family and I were never offered an explanation or an apology by him. I felt it was was cowardly. I am a surgical tech so I understand things do not always go as planned in surgery.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Newman's office from start to finish. It was easy to make a fast appointment. I waited very little time to see the doctor once in the office. The office staff was very pleasant. My surgery was scheduled with ease through Holly, who returned all of calls quickly. Dr. Newman and his nurse practitioner (Noel), were always present during my 6 day hospital stay. I was extremely happy with my decision to use Dr. Newman and his staff for my Thymus mass removal. A great experience from beginning to end!

Dr Newman did a open heart surgery on me which was the second one I had. He saved my life & the follow up in the ICU was amazing. I think he is so thorough & knowledgeable in his field. The best.

I met Dr Newman in a prompt manner due to my circumstance in Delray Hospital. Dr. Newman operated and all went well with very little scarring and no pain. I am kucky enough in my good fortune of finding Dr. Newman when i did. A true professional. I owe him my life!!
