List of Kari Tannenbaum's Reviews
How can you tell a patient you can't refill their depression medication anymore and they have to see a psychiatrist?! How can you just stop prescribing something THAT IS NOT EVEN A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE?! YOU are part of the problem. RIDICULOUS.
Kari Tannenbaum does not deserve the title of Doctor before her name and from my experience she does not practice medicine at all. She does however enter the room in a rush and doesn't stop talking the entire time she's present. She is rude and condescending and won't listen when you explain what you need. I was referred to the practice to see another doctor but due to the wait I was offered an appointment with Kari Tannenbaum instead. I decided to take it and didn't do any research prior to the appointment. Upon entering the room Kari Tannenbaum was aggressive and rude and asked why I was on her schedule. I never was able to explain as she would cut me off or talk overtop of my explanation. At one point I actually asked her why she was being so rude to me and quickly decided to leave afterwards. I will never return to this practice just because of this experience. There are several highly rated doctors but their schedules are very booked and the office staff will offer you appointments with other providers like Kari Tannenbaum, but its just a waste of your time because of how she conducts herself during her visits. I waited for this appointment instead of going to an urgent care because I wanted to see a doctor and who wasn't in a rush and focused on their patient but it was unfortunate to have wasted time waiting for this experience.

I have wanted to get established with a physician since moving to FL and chose this practice based on excellent reviews of other doctors. Unfortunately, they were booked for months and I was offered Tannenbaum instead. Ultimately I asked her why she was being so rude and just decided to leave.
The most unresponsive medical office I have encountered. When you call the office you enter voice mail hell. You never get a human and weeks go by before a response is made. Dr Tannenbaum does not treat any actual conditions. She is more like central dispatch. For any fraction of a point out of normal ranges on a blood test she sends you to a specialist. Refused to write prescriptions to cover routine issues. You have to go see a specialist. I suspect a medial malpractice insurance cap on her career. Don’t bother.
Seems like a good doctor but doesn't put it to use for me (her patient). I left there with THREE referrals to see specialists. My health is better than most for a 63 year old. If I wanted to go down that path I would have done it myself. Absolute waste of my time.
I am upset with this doctor and the way she has dealt with my mother. Let me say from the start that we have NOT had any experiences with rudeness. However, this doctor is of no use. My mother went in for a routine check up and a reading of her blood results. The doctor said she was fine, however refused to write any prescriptions and instead referred her to 4 different specialists. We immediately found a new doctor. Don't waste your time.
I went to get prescription for bloodwork and also to get my regular prescriptions refilled after she saw my blood results. She has a nasty attitude and excuses why she can’t write for the prescriptions I normally get for the past 15 years. Nasty personality and terrible bedside manner. I wasted my time by seeing her and don’t know how anyone can tolerate her nasty demeanor. I would run from this doctor as she is by far the worst doctor I have ever seen in my life. If I could give a zero score I would. Don’t waste your time seeing her as all these bad reviews are totally justified.
Rude. No bedside manner. Very disappointing. Would not recommend.
Dr. Tannenbaum used to be a kind doctor but over the last few years her demeanor has changed. She was so rude and cold that I switched doctors in the practice. I had to see her today because she was the only doctor available. I don’t know if she was angry that I change doctors but she was so rude and unprofessional today. I would never go back to her even if I was dying.
Weak. This visit was to establish a primary care professional since I relocated. Other than blood pressure and weight, I wasn't checked (i.e. ears, eyes, abdomen). I was referred to 3 specialists and she was clear that I had to let them know she was referring me because that's how I'd get in. None took my insurance so it didn't matter.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
