I tried to set up an appointment with Dr. Skoczylas who I had previously seen and was excellent. For almost two weeks I could not even get through to his office. WhenI finally did the individual I spoke to was unbelievlably rude. She set up an apointment and then as a last minute instrction she said you need to get blood work done. No instructions or direction. When I called the lab, the only appointment they had were for datesafter my apointment. I called back to ask for advice and she said "you have to plan better and hung up on me. There is no way for me to contact Dr. Skoczylas to let him know about the totally unprofessional manner his staff treats patients so unforutatnely I had to go public.

Dr. Skoczylas saved my life due to his dedication and perseverance. I was a patient in Legacy rehab in Boca and he was on staff there but not my regular internist. He noticed that my creatin levels were rising. He followed this up with more tests and visits and then ordered me transferred to Boca Regional Hospital. There were problems with the transport and Dr. Skoczylas kept calling the transport company to try to get it straightened out. He stayed up until 4 am to ensure that I was transferred and treated at the hospital. I'm recovered now.

I took my elderly aunt to see him. The two women office staff were unfriendly and abrupt. After waiting a half hour--without anyone else in the office--we almost left because of the attitudes but then we were seen by the doctor. We thought he was patient, listened, and he was knowledgeable. However, when needing help by phone, the staff is extremely RUDE and unhelpful. And when leaving a message, you can wait two days until the doctor returns your call. This is not why I chose to take my aunt to a geriatric doctor!

I am new to the area and Dr Skoczylas was highly recommended. This was my first visit to Dr Skoczylas The office was clean and the staff professional. I felt confident that their COVID precautions were thorough. My visit was for pre surgical clearance so this was very important to me The doctor was thorough in his examination He asked all the right questions and really listened to my answers. He followed up with his further questions based on what he learned from me and actually took the time to explain things and volunteer Information that would help me understand my current situation I highly recommend Dr Skoczylas as a knowledgeable and caring physician.

He came into my room and asked me to lean forward in my bed. He is NOT my doctor. He put his stethoscope on my back in 4 places and walked out. I was in the hospital for abdominal pain. Why my back? I did have a CAT scan. He is not my kind of doctor.
