What a nightmare! I went through Lifeskills Residential, then PHP, and finally IOP. Residential and PHP both went very well. Special shoutout to Alvin, the tech at Sunrise and Sunset—he’s a true professional. He’s detail-oriented, genuinely cares about the clients, and tailors his approach to each individual’s needs. In my opinion, he deserves to be a supervisor. You don’t find many people like him in this field. Unfortunately, things took a turn when I moved from Sunrise to The Cove for IOP. Since being at The Cove, I’ve been treated with consistent disrespect. I’ve only been here two weeks and am already having to make alternative living arrangements. It’s difficult to put into words how disappointing this experience has been. I’m looking forward to discussing my experience at The Cove directly with Clay, the CEO of Lifeskills.

My time at life skills was bittersweet, huge shout out to my IOP therapist and PHP therapist they were both amazing! I learned a lot about my self and how to live a healthy life. On the down side the PHP staff were I was staying lacked in proper training and felt lacked communication, overall outstanding solid 8/10

Do not pay for this place beware you're not even let your insurance cover it but therapy is a joke. The people that work here are rude and they're rude in general. The clients are are just not regular people. I mean, this is totally absurd how they run their facility and to tell you the truth I'm leaving soon. It doesn't make a difference.

Our young adult started at LifeSkills just over a year ago and we could not have hoped for a better outcome. Cheryl in Fort Lauderdale and Stephanie & Shannon in Delray are so committed and so professional. We have tried many different approaches in the past but none have come close to this team of highly qualified and more importantly caring individuals who are amazing. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

My daughter has moved from Lifeskills residential to their PHP program. We have encountered many wonderful therapists along the way, but I have to call out Stephanie and Sarah as going above and beyond and being a great match for my daughter and our family. Thank you, Stephanie and Sarah for all you’re doing to help our family heal. You guys make a great team.

I feel very lucky to be in the Lifeskills PHP and IOP program. I’ve become much better at using tools to deal with my depression independently. While I still have a therapist, I’ve gotten stronger and stronger and have needed that kind of feedback less. Also, Dani Lozzi runs a great alumni program that is keeping me connected.

I completed treatment at Lifeskills in Delray Beach on July 1, 2025. After 8 months, I'm in a much better place and am going to continue to work to be the best version of myself. My therapist, Kristen, was a huge part of this and deserves a lot of credit for her role. Kristen is the absolute BEST therapist I have encountered in and out of Lifeskills. All in all, it was a great program that got me back on track and I'm thankful that I had such a great therapist to help me out. Thank you.

I’ve had a pretty decent experience at Lifeskills. People love to complain about how it’s like jail and it’s such a terrible place yada yada but it’s really not that bad. I’ve gone through residential, PHP, and I’m in IOP now. Lifeskills and some of the great staff members here have helped me to get my life back 6 1/2 months ago when I was riddled with anxiety. A special shout out to Devonte, Geoff, Brandon, Ro, Diane, Alvin, Jeff, Lindsey, Danielle, Larry, Freeman, Jenna, Dr. Spaedy, Stephanie, Jodi, Reed, and last but definitely not least-the alumni coordinator Dani Lozzi. I couldn’t have done it without any of them and I am forever grateful.🙏🙏🙏
