Marc Winnick's Online Review Report Card

My experience with Dr Winnick was exceptional. He spent time with me, understood my problem and answered my questions. I am an ophthalmologist and know an excellent doctor when I meet them. He was trained by superb surgeons that are superb people. He continues their tradition. I had total confidence in his knowledge and abilities. I did not have surgery with Dr Winnick, but the surgeon he trained with sends him his patients that have moved to South Florida. This is the highest compliment a mentor can show his student. I have no hesitation recommending Dr Winnick. Experience, competence and caring describe him.

I can not recommend Dr Marc Winnick. I met with the doctor for 5 minutes. My visit was very disappointing. I was shocked by the lack of professionalism displayed by the doctor and the staff.

I would never use Dr. Winnick or his office. The doctor was not professional and he was also arbitrary and capricious. There are much better providers in Palm Beach County.

Based upon my personal experience with Dr. Winnick, I can not recommend him or his office.

Atrocious. I arrived early for for my first appointment after a two week scheduling lead time. Waiting for about 20 min when an individual without an appointment walks in and proceeds to argue with the front desk staff insisting that he see Dr. Winnick. After being told the doctor’s schedule was full and perhaps he could see another doctor he insisted and was told to wait. 10 minutes later he gets called in to see Dr. Winnick while I’m waiting. I advised the staff that was unacceptable and disrespectful. One staff member told me first he had an appointment, then she said he was seeing a different doctor, obviously lying. If that’s the respect they have for a new patient and their time then I told them I am out. I left and will not be back. Completely unacceptable handling of the entire matter.

Dr. Winnick is a top notch opthamologist, specializing in corneal disease. He treated me for a corneal ulcer which had left a corneal scar over my central line of vision. He completely explained what had happened to my eye, and he talked about treatment options. He was always very honest with me about my condition. My corneal scar was treated with medications, and it greatly improved over a fairly short period of time. He is a very supportive doctor who makes you feel very comfortable and very optimistic. He referred me to an excellent optometrist, who fitted me for rigid permeable lenses. The lens smoothes the surface of the cornea and thus improves vision. I am thrilled with the results of my experience with Dr. Winnick. I can now see so much better at a distance and can resume enjoying physical activities that I love. I can also clearly see people's faces across a large room, which I could not do when I first went to Dr. Winnick's office. Driving my car is now like it was before my problem occurred.I highly recommend him for his knowledge, skill, honesty, and his wonderful personality. I am very thankful to him for the marked improved in my vision. He could have gone with an invasive procedure, but he felt that my best option was just medications., and he was absolutely right.

Dr. Winnick is very thorough in his examinations searching to identify any possible eye problems. He has a very professional manner that shows that he cares about his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Winnick.

Dr. Winnick is a very intelligent, courteous and empathetic physician. He spends a good amount of time with me whenever I see him and his bedside manner is excellent. He is always willing to offer detailed explanations of various procedures and does so in a pleasant and precise manner. I highly recommend Dr. Winnick without any reservation.
