My experience with Dr Werner has been nothing but excellent. I went to him after reading an article he wrote for Gleams magazine. I ended up with a piece of cataract interfering with my cornea and causing damage. He scheduled me for surgery right away, removing the culprit. I returned to him once the cornea had healed and he performed lazik surgery to remove scar tissue caused by the cataract. I was always taken promptly and found all of the supporting staff to be utmost professionals. The cataract surgery had not been performed at Delray Eye Associates. I feel, Dr Werner saved the sight in that eye.

He walked out in the middle of an examination I was medicated said he would be right back in two minutes 40 minutes later I am still sitting alone in the exam room ..where was the Dr? No one came into check on me. I finally went out into the hallway and an assistant said she would look for him 10 minutes later the assistant said he’ll be right there he was helping another dr with a patient When he finally appeared he made no apologies did not complete the the exam and told me to come back if I still had problems for further exams he said he was too busy! He was cold, rude and condescending and nasty! His assistant who did the refraction exam was very rude she actually said she did not believe I knew what my eyeglass prescriptions were …as most of her elderly patients are very confused! Dementia? Please stay away from this very Rude and unkind doctor!

Went in for eye issue unrelated to glaucoma and was told he was glad this happened to me to bring me in. Walked out. Don't need or want someone touching my eyes w that kind of negativiy.
