I'm taking the time to write this because both my husband and I both used Dr. Hus this year. My husband's surgery was first and I'll admit the Delray Hospital's services left something to be desired.. with their lack of communication and general attitude.. but Dr. Hus was great. Then, months later I needed a general surgeon to I contacted Dr. Hus's office. Marvelous caring staff, and the doctor is patient and explains everything. Only one issue.. he had to change appointments a couple of times due to emergencies. I assume that happens for all such doctors.. but I intrusted my issue to him and am happy I did.

I went to see the physician after a car accident in which my car was totaled and I was admitted I the hospital for a week. The attending assistant to Dr. Hus, was not interested in my care, after he realized I didn't have an attorney. I was quickly dismissed.

Dr. Hus is an amazing physician. He is a consummate professional, an excellent surgeon, has phenomenal bedside manner, and is clearly dedicated to his patients. He cared for my father as if he was his own. He always made time to speak to the family and keep them in the loop. I highly recommend him.

In the spring of 2020, I had a very bad bicycle accident (no car involved), that shattered my ribs, plus broke my collarbone and shoulder blade. While in the ER, Dr. Hus determined I would need a chest wall reconstruction, since I had 16+ fractures across 6 ribs. They are now plated with titanium, and within 2 months I was able to start running again (carefully, after I was medically cleared). Dr. Hus took the time to answer all my wife’s questions over the phone after my surgery. When he visited me while I was in ICU, he was very kind and we had some laughs, since I used humor and gratitude to get through things in the hospital. He also spent time talking to us during my post-surgery follow-up at his office. His partner Dr. Rodriguez and the team at their office are wonderful and friendly. Dr. Hus absolutely cares for his patients, and I am truly grateful to he and his team for all their help!

He took the time to answer all my wife’s questions over the phone after the surgery, and while visiting me in the ICU, he answered all my questions. He and his staff and partner at his office are very knowledgeable and friendly. Two months after the accident and surgery, I was able to start running again, after getting medically cleared. Dr. Hus reconstructed my right chest wall after a bad Cycling accident I had (no car involved). He truly cares about his patients, and took the time to answer all my wife’s questions after the surgery. When we visited the office, he and his partner and staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you!!
