After tripping over my dog, i ended up in the emergency room at Halifax in Deltona. Dr Hayden was called to examine and determine what needed to be done. Turned out I had 2 broken legs. A hairline fracture in the right one and a broken tibia and fibula in the left which needed a rod and 5 screws. Dr Hayden was very caring and treated me as a person not just a patient and was able to do the surgery here instead of having to go to Daytona. His office and staff are also very friendly and accommodating when scheduling my follow up visits. I highly recommend Dr. Hayden if you want a caring professional surgeon who treats you as a person and not just a patient.

Dr. Hayden is the best!! At 75 I tripped over my dog and broke both my legs. Dr. Hayden met me in the Deltona Halifax Emergency room and made me feel comfortable about what needed to be done and even was able to do it in Deltona where i live instead of having the go to Daytona Halifax Hospital. Follow up appointments were made easily and again his bedside manner puts you at ease and he takes time to answer your questions. I felt I was important and not just another patient. I would recommend anyone needing orthopedic surgery to use him and his office!

A few weeks ago, I was involved in a horse riding accident which required an Emergency Dept visit. We headed to Halifax in Delton as it was the closest. I knew nothing about Halifax at the time. As we pulled in the parking lot, I was reassured when I saw the UF Health affiliation. The ED was quick and easy and I was referred to Dr. Hayden with 2 ankle fractures & sprain and a fractured foot for further treatment. Dr. Hayden and the entire UF Health team has been amazing - knowledgeable, efficient, and FRIENDLY! It's been a long time since I've been in any healthcare facility where everyone seemed to enjoy what they were doing. Dr. Hayden took the time to explain things to me and suggested a treatment plan that almost immediately reduced my pain and swelling and now just 3 weeks later, I've been cleared to get back on my horse. I found the practice so good that I now have Dr. Hayden treating my long-time knee problem. I highly recommend him and his team!!
