If I could leave 0 stars, I would. He is actually a friendly, compassionate doctor who treated my elderly mother kindly. His office staff on the other hand is completely unprofessional, rude and generally unhelpful. Not only was I given multiple different excuses for their lack of follow through on medications I was also given faulty information regarding referrals. Not only that but when I became exasperated trying to work WITH them, Dr Henkel’s assistant actually hung up on me. I am actually a nurse myself working in a busy drs office and if I treated our patients like they treated us, I’d be out of a job. Busy and stressed is one thing, unnecessary rudeness is completely uncalled for.

Dr Henkel really cares about his patients! He answered all of our questions clearly. He did an outstanding job on my wife's cataract surgery. This can be a pretty scary time, but he put us at ease through the entire process. We highly recommend him!

Let me start to the front desk people, Jenna was very helpful and nice, I had a chalazion removal it was fast and easy, thank you to Jackie and Dr. Henkel this people are very professional, and everyone that works here are very nice, they are very welcoming and comforting...

Dr. Henkel is absolutely awesome! me & my kids see him & we just love him. We never have to wait long were always in & out fairly quickly. office staff is very sweet & always helpful. i HIGHLY recommend him!

I went in for my anual eye exam and he said that I should eat healthier but he needs to practice what he preaches. He wouldn’t let me say anything the exam was over in about 2 minutes.

I recently saw Dr. Henkel for PRK surgery. He took the time to have his staff do thorough measurements, tests, and consultation to make sure I was a good candidate for the procedure. When it turned out I was, he then took the time to go over everything thoroughly, and answer all my questions. On the day of the procedure, it took all of 30 minutes from start to finish. Now, I see fantastic out of both eyes. No more contacts or glasses (of which I have worn for the past 30 years!). The facility is well run, very clean, and his staff is very friendly. Dr. Henkel's demeanor is very caring, thoughtful, and has your best interest in mind when discussing potential procedures. I highly recommend Dr. Henkel!
