My dad hasn't been the most patient patient and tends to not want to go to any of his doctors appts with any doctor. I called Sugerlyn and explained that me dad had been to his PCP and that his BP was through the roof, She moved mountains to make any appt happen for us with Dr. Fernandez. Than at the office another lady helped book as many testing as possible on the same day that my dad needed because she his situation. I only have positive things to say about this office, They are nice, willing, knowledgeable and educated. Thanks for being amazing. Sincerly Rosie

This is not a cardiologist that I would recommend. Unfortunately this doctor and his staff were a disappointment. I have elderly parents in their mid 80s. We had an appointment at 1:00 and 1:15. on a Monday. We arrived to the appointment on time. Wrote both their names in the check in list. We waited for about 45 minutes to be informed that their appointments were cancelled due to us not confirming their appointments on Friday. Typically this has never been an issue in the past. I explained that we were not home and they called the home number. She mentioned that the first call was a little after 3pm then 6 PM I asked if the doctor was aware of this cancellation and that we were not home but it did not matter what I had to say. It was talking to a wall. The appointment was cancelled and was told that I had to reschedule. I thought about the many times I have sat with both my parents waiting over 2 and 3 hours to be seen and how quickly they cancelled their appointments. Typically these calls are to remind you of the appointment and if you need to reschedule to call the office. If you are a no show, you may even get charged in some offices. This I had never experienced. I told the receptionist that I would not reschedule but wanted my parent's medical reports. There are plenty of better cardiologist out there with a better staff. Research your doctors well.

Absolutely outstanding service by Dr. Fernández and his team of experts. We had to get a second opinion on ECG which Port of Miami Medical Facility (stay away from this place everyone!) failed to read correctly and they surely delivered! They managed to fit us into their busy schedule last minute and were super professional and very nice. The team has great vibe, they're happy and super helpful, we couldn't have been more grateful for their assistance. Thank you!

This was such a great experience. The Doctor is amazing, he takes his time with you and explains everything to you. The staff is always so helpful, really go out of there way to help you in any way they can.
