When I first moved back to Dunedin 6/1/21, I wasn’t convinced that Humana had made the right decision choosing Dr Stephens. At 62 years of age, with 18 surgeries under my belt, I have seen my fair share of PCP’s. I can tell you with certainty, she is in the top 3 all time. I had one that I had seen for almost 20 years, and we had a great relationship. On second thought, Dr Stephens is top 2. She is very detailed and knowledgeable…as well as easy to communicate with. She seems to genuinely care and covers all bases. So in closing…it was a wonderful choice!!

Dr. Stephens is a very very thorough and intelligent doctor she does show concern for the patient especially if there is overweight or something that targets her specialty areas she is one of the best doctors that I have had in years

I was initially nervous about putting my healthcare needs in the hands of Dr Stephens. ( due to a few unfavorable reviews) But , I couldn't be happier ! She is very competent and an excellent listener ! She has helped me through some very difficult times ! Her staff is very friendly and response times are excellent ! I wish I could give her six stars !

Very disappointed with the new staff since the beginning of the year. Lack of communication between Dr. orders, staff and patient. After 10 weeks of symptoms which have not been cleared I learned today that additional tests were ordered but no one ever contacted the patient. I like Dr. Stevens tremendously and have been with her for the last three years, but poor staff appreciates her efforts.

I am being very generous about this review by giving 3 starts. The stars are only for Katie the office manager and Judy (receptionist- no longer there). I just called to get my mother records sent (again) to a new provider. I spoke with terry, who was extremely rude. She was rushed and nasty. I politely asked to speak with someone else and she told me no one else was there and hung up on me. My mom liked the physician, however, doing anything at this office is near to impossible.

Negative attitude, no eye contact, brusque, never actually listened to anything, acted like she was doing me a favor. Will not be back. Worst doctor ever.

Comfortable and happy with Dr. Stephens. Provides adequate time needed for a visit. Professional, knowledgeable, thorough. Continue to recommend Dr. Stephens as I have to other friends who are equally satisfied with her care. I am also a healthcare professional for many years.

Dr. Stephens takes the time to talk to me and explain anything I ask about. She treats me like a person, rather than a means to bill insurance. Most other doctors I've encountered are more interested in shuffling as many patients through as possible without actually trying to fully understand a patient's issues.

VERY disappointed with this doctor!!! My mom had cancer removed on her leg by Dr. Stephens and was sent home with no oral or topical antibiotics. My mom got a horrible infection, and has been hospitalized.
