I was a NP with Dr. Hansen I had no problems with him but his nurse and office staff are unprofessional call their office and the person answering the phone with shout your question over the room to the nurse and then relay the message back to you. How do they know if someone would recognize my name that they shouted out and then hear the question and the answer back about my medical issues?

Has been our doctor for 25? years and weve had very major health problems and on a scale of 10 hes an 11. But hes only taking new patients where they come recommended by present patients or family of present patients etc.

I really love Dr. Hansen. He is very good with his work and is concerned about me as a patient.He takes time to answer all my questions. I never fill like he is in a rush. He always visits me in the hospital which has been quite a few times. He makes me smile reguardless of how I am feeling. Even when I am under another Doctors care. The nurse I had at the hospital said that she was impressed by him because he was great about ansering her calls when she reached out to him about the condition I was going through. She expressed that not all Drs were good about that.He is always concerned about my well being when I am sick. He tries to always get me in for a visit when I need him. His office staff is the best. I always get an immedaie respnse from them and they work hard to get me seen by another dr. quickly if I need to be seen by another Dr. I have other Drs I like but their staff is horrible. He alwys runs enough tests to try and rule out anything that might be wrong. I would never want to lose him as a DR.

You know the saying some where someone is going to the worst dr .....well it is dr Hansen .stay away from him.

The 1 star is because I waited 52 minutes and never saw the Dr. I got dressed and left the office. I was seriously disappointed that I was not communicated to that the MD was held up at the hospital. If the staff had come and spoke to me I would have waited. He could be a great MD but I dont know.

Dr. Hansen is congenial thorough and knowledgeable. His staff is exceptional the ARNP the nurses and the office staff. I would highly recommend him as an internist and the practices responsiveness to phones is the best I have ever had from a physicians office.
