After one short initial encounter with my child while inpatient 2030 minutes he labelled them as bipolar and aggressively pushed for medication. Multiple other mental health professionals believe the diagnosis was presumptive and there was triggering factors to the depression including the COVID pandemic and isolation. I would strongly encourage you to seek a second opinion after seeing Dr. Taddeo.

Dr Taddeo is a excellent Dr. My 92 year old mother went into a depression with agitation and hallucinations and needed to be hospitalized. I never though she would recover but with Dr Taddeo’s help she is so much better. Im grateful to this Dr for his knowledge and treatment of my mother’s disorder.Im glad to have my mom back home forever grateful for Dr Taddeo Respectfully Irv Hoffman.

It did not take long for Dr. Taddeo to understand what my son was going through psychologically and the complexity of his mental health situation. He did not hesitate to let me know the urgency of my sons issue. I felt he was very thorough and accurate. He really does care and this helped me through a very difficult episode. I would definitely recommend his treatment.

Dr. Taddeos expertise and compassionate care during my daughters hospitalization was powerfully calming during a difficult period. He invested the time to establish a relationship and dialogue with both she and our family and remained accessible throughout her treatment. Dr. Taddeo is a skilled listener and it is wonderful to see so clearly his passion and commitment to his profession and the young people he helps. Our daughter has received treatment at other hospitals and this is the first time we have experienced this level of care and communication with the doctor. It made all the difference.

My son has been in and out of mental facilities for several years. Of all of those Dr. Taddeo has been the only one to have frequent and courteous contact with me and cared enough to take time to look into my sons mental history to determine a correct diagnosis and choose a correct path of medicine. Dr. Taddeo is the best child psychiatrist we have had contact with. I would recommend him to anyone who has a child with mental illness. My only regret is that Dr. Taddeo does not have a private practice. Thank you Dr. Taddeo for care and concern for my sons future health.

My young daughter was involuntarily committed it was the most trying time imaginable for my family. Dr. Taddeo treated her and her family with respect and compassion and was a great comfort to all involved. He kept us informed and offered sage followup advice. Highly recommended we are grateful.

I was diagnosed Bipolar 2 at the Morton Plant Hospital in my early 20s. Dr. Ronald J. Taddeo prescribed me Lithium and kept me 14 days in Alder 4 MP Clearwater. During this stay i was never checked for blood work until the end of my stay and i was at a toxic level. He tried to just make me seem insane and nothing was reported of the danger he put me in. Two days after discharge i was in a near fatal car accident. I was never warned about driving cautions. Do not choose this man to help you.
