Everyone here was amazing to my mother in her final days as well as my entire family. They are angels.

Please read this before considering placing your loved one in the care of this facility My family member was referred to them by his doctor and was in their care for about 2 weeks before they did the most horrific thing possible to someone in hospice. He has brain cancer and Needed his medications to be managed so he Would be comfortable which is what hospice is supposed to do. Rather then doing that and taking the time to adjust the medications so they benefited him properly they signed a Baker act order and sent him by police escort to the psychiatric ward at Halifax Hospital. No other options were attempted before this action. And nothing that he did warranted this action. These people have no compassion or understanding for how their patients and their families feel nor do they care. I feel as though that they abuse their power and their patients. Please do not put your loved ones throughThe torture they have put us through. They do not know what they’re doing and should have referred him elsewhere if they felt they could not handle taking care of a patient in his condition. He was in no way a danger to anyone or himself and What they did was on excusable unacceptable and absolutely barbaric. No one should be treated like this especially someone in hospice

The facility is beautiful and the seashore theme lends itself to the calm atmosphere. Everyone on the staff was kind and helpful from nurse to security guard. My brothers room was nicely appointed for a room that also provided for his medical needs. There was a screened in patio outside his room where family could visit without disturbing him while he rested. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone needing hospice care.

It was very last minute when my grandmother decided it was time to be put on hospice I called them up and the people were so friendly kind and understanding. They sent a nurse out that morning later that night my grandmother was there. The people are so friendly funny. They made us really feel at peace with everything going on. I definitely recommend this place amazing people doing hard work.
