I am writing to provide a professional humanitarian review of Dr. Matthew Kowalke, MD, based on my firsthand experiences and observations. Dr. Kowalke is an exceptional medical professional whose dedication to improving the lives of individuals in underserved communities is truly commendable. Throughout my interactions with Dr. Kowalke, I have consistently witnessed his unwavering commitment to humanitarian causes. He has consistently volunteered his medical expertise in various health initiatives, demonstrating a deep understanding of the unique healthcare challenges faced by vulnerable populations.

No interpersonal skills. wouldn't let me finish my sentence. rushed me through the entire visit. Showed little to no interest in me as a person. Prescribed a medicine I didn't want. Felt the visit was incomplete. I was there to follow up on my labs, asked me if I had seen them on the portal and no was the response, didn't even know they were posted? I was there for him to go over my labs with me, which he did not. I had to ask him about my A1C there was no discussion whatsoever and again showed no interest. Will never have another visit with him and would not recommend anyone to go see him.
