Great staff but they don't work with my insurance provider when it comes to the prescription

Dr Long is excellent. Explains everything professional personality is great. Front staff needs work. No personalities all around. Did not have correct referral now I have to pay for visit instead of VA. Even though I called a week before. They did cancel my appointment that I made 12 months ago 10 days before appointment but was able to reschedule me. Than because I need 2 tests during visit …at this visit I was told I couldn’t have the test because they didn’t have staff/time to do it. I complained and they were able to get it done but couldn’t figure out how to work the machine. I have had this test many times in many areas of the country….this time it was different…which I question the test but am confident in Dr long so I let it go. The who experience was disorganized. I talked to Dr long about it and …bottom line…..it’s a 3 hour tour for a dr appt and the Drs seem great but the staff needs to have it together

Dr. Long is highly proficient and extremely knowledgeable. I followed everything that she has told me to do and my eyesight has improved from 20/30 to 20/25. In addition, her manner is caring, thoughtful, and kind. She's easy to talk to, and she's an excellent listener. I can't imagine ever finding a better ophthalmologist than her! She has my highest recommendation.
