Premala Raja's Online Review Report Card

She tried to rush me out of her office and half way out the door before I could ask any of my questions I had on my list. She wasn't interested in my care in my opinion and was not very professional or caring about me. I didn't feel cared for by her. And I couldn't understand her.

She told me she had other patients waiting and she was half way out the door when I had other questions to ask her. She seemed to busy to answer my questions and very hurried. She did all the talking and I couldn't ask any of my questions I had on my list. In my opinion she is not a very caring or patient doctor. I would go to someone else before her ever again. Save your time and money and just go to another more professional patient doctor. Plus she is very hard to understand when she talks I found in my opinion.

She doesn't give you enough time for your questions. She said to me she had to get to her next patient & left.

She is the best cardiologist in the area, bar none! Incredibly thorough and brilliant! Fabulous diagnostician!

If I could giver her zero stars I would. but unfortunately that isn't an option. I went into Englewood hospital on Thursday evening with arm and jaw pain. Now previously having a heart attack 3 years ago I knew the symptoms and didn't wait around this time . I was admitted into the hospital due to my recent history and my blood work being elevated and showing there was stress on my heart. The next morning Dr. Raja came into my room and was 1. Extremely dry and rude 2. Unconcerned about anything in regards to me. 3. Unprofessional and zero bed side manner After asking me just a couple questions about what had brought me to the ER i explained everything to her about my left arm pain and tingly and pain radiating into my jaw. ( ALL SIGNS OF A HEART ATTACK / PROBLEMS) which you would think she would know considering she is a cardiologist right? well not to much surprise with out our encounter started she proceeded to tell me my arm must have been hurting due to "cleaning" and using a broom the day before and disregarded the jaw pain completely and wasn't concerned with my blood work as my enzymes jumped from 25 to 75 in one hour. Then decided she thinks its best if i just go home and wait to get ahold of my cardiologist and go get a stress test done bc i wasn't in any pain when speaking to her...as i continued to reiterate that the pain would come and go just as it did the first time i had a heart attack. As she tries tell me she wants to send me home i know my body and something wasn't right and i refused to be sent home and requested a new Dr immediately and THANK GOD I DID. i was being sent home to basically have a heart attack and die as my new doctor ( Dr. Upendram) was highly concerned and took me for a Cardiac Cath procedure and found my widow maker artery (LAD) 85% blocked and had to place a stent. if i would have listen to DR. RAJA i wouldn't not be here today to let everyone know what a terrible dr she is. word to the wise STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM HER.

The doctor explained everything and is very patient.

This doctor does ??not follow up with her patients. Prescribed meds and when patient had issues with the meds the doctor failed to follow-up causing the patient further stress and complications. I would not recommend this cardiologist unless you want to end up in the hospital . Still waiting after three days for a response. Force to now seek a professional medical provider.

Great Doctor, Cares about people, Awesome ??!!!!

I was admitted to Englewood com.hospital for a.fib...she visited my room that very afternoon. Asked tons of questions,talked about my history ,and contacted my hospital and northern doctors. The very next morning she suggested a cardioversion,which is an electrical shock to the heart ,kinda like a reset button! One hour after I awoke to a normal heart rhythm!! That afternoon she suggested that I change three meds and the next morning I was released!! First I thank God,then thank you Dr Raja,and a special thank you to all the awesom nurses and cna’s At Englewood Community Hospital !!!

SHE IS A WONDREFUL DOCTOR I HAVE BEEN GOING TO HER FOR AT LEAST 10 YEARS OR MORE I HAVE HAD BREAST CANCER AND OTHER HEALTH ISSUES SHE HAS ALWAYS TAKEN VERY GOOD CARE OF ME IF I COULD HAVE HER FOR MY DOCTOR FOR EVERYTHING I WOULD IWAS BORN WITH CEREBRAL PALSY ICANT TYPE GOOD
