Called to make appointment as new patient. Snotty woman on the phone said they don't accept patients that are being treated by any other local urologist. Typical Florida healthcare. What difference does it make who I'm being treated by? I'm not happy with my current urologist and I wanted to change. That should be illegal!!

My experience with Dr. Martz and his staff has been outstanding. As a result of gall bladder surgery in early June, I experienced a severe case of post operative urinary retention. Dr. Martz diagnosed the problem as advanced BPH, quickly performed bipolar TURP surgery, and oversaw a comprehensive strategy for quick recovery. During all this his staff was extremely thoughtful, responsive and quite effective. Because of these efforts I was able to recover quickly and participate in a long planned wilderness expedition in Alaska, and enjoyed every minute of that! Thanks much for the great care!

Very thorough, listens intently, pleasant, and a great Doctor. I had a TURP procedure by Dr. Martz. Both he and the procedure team were phenomenal.

Dr Martz is very thorough. I had a existing problem when I moved here and my Doctor up north could never correct the problem . Dr Martz analyzed the problem correctly and one procedure I was back to normal.

I was very impressed with Dr Martz’s ability to explain my condition and his caring manner. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a fine Urologist in the Englewood area.

I have had problems for over 20 years, recurring. My prior urologist could not get me in for almost 3 weeks. When I asked for some assistence to get me through until the appointment, I was told they could not make anything available until I saw the doctor. So I went to the walk in clinic Millenium (a Sunday) has and the PA (Dr. Alice) suggested Dr. Martz after I told her the story of the doctor that had operated on me 3 years ago. I got in to see Dr. Martz in 6 days, and was operated on 5 days later. Today I feel better just day out. Dr. Martz's staff was welcoming and friendly, and Dr. Martz is the same way. I was treated in a friendly and PROFESSIONAL manner. The Englewood OP surgery unit was fantastic as well, can't say enough good things about everyone that was involved in getting this job done. Thanks
