I have been seeing Dr. Gonzalez for almost 2 years and find him to be an excellent doctor. He takes the time to listen if you have questions and works with you to resolve any medical issues.

I have seen Dr Gonzales twice now and was very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He listened to what I needed to say with concern and laid out a plan of treatment. I would highly recommend him.

Staff don't take care of patient so much. Indistinct treatment. If you have an appointment at 8 be sure to be visited by the doctor at 9. if you request a favor, for example want to request a lab before the appointment date. Forget about. They want you to go after appointment to do the lab and if it is something wrong then you need to schedule a new appointment to see doctor again. then they charge twice. Well now I'm looking to find out another internal medicine doctor ASAP.

I haven't been to the doctor in over 9yrs and finally decided to go. I chose Dr. Gonzalez because my insurance company rated him well and he was close to my home. When I called i got an appointment for the very next day. When I got to my appointment the staff was very welcoming and helpful. I saw the nurse within 10 minutes and the doctor within 25. I told him my history, he asked me a series of questions and then gave me a full exam. I was nervous at first but over all it went very well. Gotta say i think I picked a good doctor.

Prescribed a medication that caused my mother to have an incessant cough and vomiting for a year. She kept complaining as she got weaker and weaker, and he never realized the medicine was the cause. It took her going to the hospital for a doctor there to immediately connect the symtoms to the medication, and changed her medication. After getting out of the hospital, she visited Dr, Gonzalez for follow-up, and also needed two prescriptions. The insurance required his office to verify that one of the prescriptions was needed, and even though his office said he would call...he never did. The following day, the doctor informed me that he was busy, works a lot of hours, and has no time to be calling an insurance company. He said my mother should pay for the medication herself, if the insurance would not pay for it without him calling. He is rude, ignorant, and does not care about his patients. After this incident, she immediately changed doctors.

Stay away, unless you want to relive the 1970's in terms of office, staff and doctor. By the way that is the 1970's in Cuba, because that is where it feels like! The doctor nor the staff seem to really care...they go through the motions, but nothing more. If you need help and leave a message...good luck as you may or may not ever hear from them. This office leaves you feeling very CONCERNED, not how you want to feel about a doctor or his staff. For the good of your health please stay away. Thanks.
