William Finlayson's Online Review Report Card

What happened to all the negative reviews? It's interesting how they all disappeared? So ,all these years you got only (1) 5 star review?That's convenient isn't it?

Dr. Finlayson is extremely professional and knowledgeable, but even more important, he is sincerely interested in the patient, a refreshing change from some previous experiences I've had. I've been with him for several years now, and continue to be encouraged to meet my health goals.

I already had an Endo for Autoimmune Thyroiditis. He got those numbers straight and he could do no more. 3 weeks later I had my very first seizure, husband witnessed it. Endo said it is difficult to fake incontinence, meaning if my husband wasn't there it wouldn't be believed. So then I go to Finlayson as a Primary care, I noticed a test taken from a natural doctor it showed my ferritin 196. I have all the symptoms after that I had before. So requested IRON panel. Go in the next day with my husband. Dr. as he's opening door says, "If you're here about the iron panel, you don't have it!" With that attitude it went bad. I insisted we do genetic test. He reluctantly Agree. Monday: Nurse call: Every this is perfect!! But the genetic test didn't. I called on Monday and the nurses said they could have him call me the next day, I said what's the point. I have a Hematologist and have already had one phlebotomy, Dr. Finlayson "discharged" me as he says; for being rude to the staff. On the dismissal letter he said it was because I wouldn't follow his path of getting on synthetic female hormones, because my sister's breast cancer doesn't improve my odds. I want to lower the iron and see where we are, His ego got hurt and he dismissed me and sent me away. Discharge someone as if they were working for you. I don't work for you, YOU WORK FOR ME! I AM THE PERSON PAYING ! I'm not discharged, you're FIRED! I your an informed patient do go to him.

I was a patient of Dr. Finlayson for close to twenty years. I was advised ahead of time that he has a brisk and efficient manner, and that turned out to be true. In all my visits I found him personable and very efficient. Also, in all that time, he found and treated a number of conditions (of varying seriosness) with proper care and necessary referrals. His questions regarding past issues and/or medications were always matter-of-fact and to the point allowing for quicker disgnoses and care. He questioned my requests for treatment or medications thouroughly to be sure they made sense (many did not). My life has been better and longer as a result I moved to Tennesseee for family reasons. Otherwise I would dtill be one of his patients.

I have found Dr. Finlayson to be very helpful, he understands my problems. He is very precise in his answers. His staff goes out of their way to make the visits go a smoothly as possible. I have not experienced long waiting times.

The rudest most insulting doctor ever in my entire life.....run don't walk

On March 21,2019. I went after waiting 5 weeks to see Dr Finlayson. This physician I wanted so I thought to see for a new patient relationship. I've never in my 53 years seen a worse physician ever. He needs to put 3 padlocks on the front door pull up the mats and close down. He came into the exam room. He was the rudest most insulting doctor in my entire life. He treated my very poorly. He talked down on me like I was dirt. I didn't ask for any drugs. I ask for labs since it been 2 years since last major labs. I've got a rare blood cancer and severe cervical spine stenosis. I said can you add D3 to blood work. He very rudely says " what makes you think you need it". I'm like because I had low values in the past. I ask for acid reflux med. He says very nasty how he refer me out unreal....never again...
