Yash Sangwan's Online Review Report Card

I could not be more satisfied with the care that I have received from Dr. Sangwan and his staff. From the first visit I was made to feel like family and truly cared for. He is about to perform a much needed surgery and has my complete confidence. I look forward to finally feeling better and have a better quality of life thanks to Dr. Sangwan's extensive and impressive credentials and experience.

Dr. Sangwan was brief, professional, to the point, and performed emergency surgery on a Sunday to fix a blockage in my small intestines. He successfully addressed the problem, I recovered quickly, and was discharged two days later. I went to Dr. Sangwan’s office today (5 days post surgery), for a follow up visit and was told that my insurance had denied his bill, so they would only see me if I paid the bill right then. If they were willing to bet the cost of one appointment (~$100) against my health and getting sued, I figured they thought I was fine, so I left. Plus, I am from out of state so I had spoken with my insurance when I was first hospitalized and they assured me I would be completely covered as this was an emergency. I called my insurance company after I left the doctor’s, and they told me they had yet to even receive a claim from Dr. Sangwan!!! I then called the office about the lack of a submitted claim, and they told me they’d get back to me…

My wife had two operations under the supervision of Dr. Sangwan. His professionalism and care was second to none. I truly believe Dr. Sangwan save my wife's life. I would highly recommend him as my first and only choice for colon surgery. His attention to detail, I believe are the main reasons my wife is having the success today as a result of his ability.

I met Dr. Sangwan on the 10th April 2023 when I was admitted into the hospital. He visited me every day as we agreed to try anti biotics for my condition of Dyverticulitis of the large inteston. As the week wetn on I continued to see some progress and I saw Dr. Sangwan every day. My progress quickly regressed and he suggested surgery and I agreed. At this time I was very comfortably with Dr. Sangwan doing the surgery. He did the Surgery on the 15th of April and Dr. Sangwan was there when I woke up. He was present at least once a day during my recovery, up to the day I was released. He explained it was a very serve case and that I was fortunate. I believe him whole heartedly. Upon my follow up to his office today for the removal of the staples, he was very kind and spoke for me to take the time to heal properly. The experience I have had with Dr. Sangwan, and his staff, is not what is accustomed in today's society. He is an old fashioned Dr. with character and quality that's intention is for the well being of His patients. I would recommend Dr. Sangwan, and His staff to any that are available. This doctor lied to me in order to collect 900.00 dollars over and above my Insurance. He told me I had problems that turned out not to exist. Verified by another practicioner.

His wife is extremely unprofessional and rude. I get that you hired her to save money but her attitude is running you business off. The place could use a total overhaul.

I went to Dr. Sangwan for a second opinion after 8 months and two surgeries of dealing with a fistula that wouldn’t go away. It felt like my condition kept getting worse and it was affecting my day to day life/work. Once Dr. Sangwan started treating me, I saw some hope. He is very knowledgeable and explained well what his treatment plan was with realistic expectations and outcomes. I had four surgeries with him in a period of six months and he took care of the fistula completely - my life went back to normal! I will 100% recommend Dr. Sangwan for any colorectal issues.
