1st week of January i visit my primary doctor. They refer me to a GI Doctor borderland groover fleming island Ok great. Once the authorization was approved thru my insurance i make the appointment which was January 20th when i made the appointment and the next opening they had was March 10th. So i make that appointment Excited i can finally see a GI Doctor i count down the days. I mark it down on a calendar. Then i get a text from them saying that there was a cancelation if i wanted a sooner appointment March 3rd... I was like Heck yes a few days ago they ask me to fill out the paperwork and provide a credit card to pay my $40 copay on day of visit before visiting to make it faster. I do that. and today March 2nd... One day before the appoint after waiting 42 days for this appointment i get a call from borderland groover.. We dont accept your insurance you have got to be kidding me. 40 days... i mean 40 dang days wasted. This was so devastating because I have only been getting worse and now 40 days wasted. The primary doctor is at fault for referring me to someone who does not apparently accept my insurance tho they said they have sent people to this GI Doc with my same insurance before and the insurance company for not saying a single thing and approving it and even worse is borderland groover for waiting for 40 days to notify me...

My wife saw a doctor at this location and he gave her a prescription. They never phoned it in. I had to call the office and wait on hold for 10 minutes to get it sent over. No apology from the staff person and she ended up hanging up on me. I dont recommend.

I arrived to my 1145 appointment at 1150 a few mins late.... when I get there the receptionist informed me that the doctor is away for an emergency . Okay an emergency is a bit more important than what I am dealing with ... but my question is why didnt anyone call me to tell me this? They knew the moment I walked in the door that my appointment was canceled do to this circumstance . The receptionist acted as it was no big deal and oh well . My days off during the week are valuable because I work mon friday 85. I had to use a PTO day for this appointment that I have been waiting on for the longest. My stomach is in a ball and hurt and all you can do is act like its no big deal ?? Unacceptable Will not be going back for future appointments I rather do buisness with someone who care about my time
