List of Park Avenue Dermatology's Reviews
Absolutely horrible office, staff, and billing representative. I've been getting the run around with this office/ company since early fall of last year! I've been the one who was following up with calls despite being told that the office will get back with me. The billing representative was extremely aggressive with me when I was trying to explain for the 10th time my situation and if there was a resolution. She became extremely rude and cut me off every single time I tried to explain my situation to her. She verbalized that when clients get rude she takes it personally. Again, I was not rude but frustrated because of the run around I've been given by this office. Once, I became upset because of her actions and I did not cuss or even scream at her, she reminded me that the phone calls were recorded. That's great! Please do not edit any of the phone conversation so that you can hear how your employer are treating clients who have been lied to. It's a shame because this office wasn't like this when Mary was there. I'd rate this a -5! Avoid this place because their professional practices and code of ethics is horrid!
I haven't even made an appointment yet and I have a bad taste in my mouth about this practice. The receptionist was extremely rude and acted annoyed by normal questions. I was asking for a specific type of specialist and she couldn't even take the time to answer, just gave me generic answers that everyone there is qualified, like I was wasting her time by trying to find out if I should book an appointment. Going elsewhere.
There is usually a long wait for regular dermatology services but the cosmetic side is fast. I had my annual much neglected checkup and then later IPL for brown sun spots on my face. After years of living in LA and Austin the sun did a bit of damage. IPL has erased time. I highly recommend the very professional office!
The receptionist was so rude over the phone that I told her to just scratch making an appointment. I called a different place and made an appointment.
Took my mother to Fleming Island office today. They asked that we come 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork which we did. Had already filled out paperwork online so not sure why we couldn’t just have done it all online. Did not see doctor until an hour after appointment time (had been there 1 1/2 hours by then). Doctor did not address any of her concerns or even let her get a word in. When we left it was 12:00 which is apparently the time all the offices close for lunch and it took 25 minutes to get out to the main road because everyone was leaving for lunch. I understand things come up and schedules get off but I’m assuming it is the norm for this office to over schedule which is a pet peeve of mine. After all my time is valuable too.
Dr. Sarah is the best! She is very knowledgeable about all skin types and is willing to do whatever she can to help you. She takes her time and gives you her utmost attention.
I've been to this group of doctors and nurses several times in the past two years, and am completely in awe of their professionalism, caring, knowledge, organization, and performance for their patients. From the front desk to the doctor, they are simply without peer. Dr. Ferrer has been a Gift to me. She's brilliant, an artist, and always respects my wishes. She keeps her team at the top, and they respect her immensely. I'm a fan for life. Thank You.
Dr. Ferrer was wonderful with my son. He struggles with severe eczema. His legs have cleared up and we are so thankful!
This was the absolute worst experience of my life last visit I had at Park Avenue Dermatology was in Fleming Island and due to the dermatologists profiling and basically looking at me and making her decisions solely based on that I have now lost my job and am on disability right now temporarily and hopefully it stays that way but I'm having a bunch of tests run and I've lost a lot just because somebody didn't believe me and didn't give me oral antibiotics so I even tried talking to the office manager and he was just as rude if not Ruder than the doctor herself I would not recommend this place
Wait to see the doctor was more than 1/2 hour after appt time, unacceptable.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
