Joni knows what she is doing! She doesn't seem to be the touchy feeling type- one to massage and prep talk. But when it comes down to getting that/those baby(ies) delivered she knows what she is doing and can be trusted 100%. This one has blessed hands and knowledge to get the job well done- no tears, no pain meds needed, everything is natural. I highly recommend her.

She helps everyone and anyone!! Very well educated woman! She know her material. I am a certified medical assistant, I have helped her with several births ! All of the births are natural on pain medications, no pain for the mom to be! She knows how to stretch the muscles therefore there are no tears or rips! I am a woman who has had four c- sections I have never seen a natural birth until I met Joni! My iron levels drop, she nursed me back to good health.she even helped me find the correct doctor to tie my tubes! These women can learn a lot from this Lil lady!

I have been a patient for 6 years. I am very happy with my midwife. I would recommend her to anyone looking to have a home birth.I am offended when I go to visit friends in the local hospital and the staff says horrible things about my midwife.The fact is it is your right when, where and how you deliver your baby, and with whom. Joni has never lost a mom or baby which no other provider in Homestead can say. She knows when it is safe to deliver and if she ever thinks there may be a problem she sends them to the hospital immediately. The hospital staff talks negatively and strongly voices there negative opinions about home births with false information. I will continue seeing my midwife for all my care, I trust her and have had no negative experiences since I have been with her.

i heard bad things from our local hospital including the "not certified " check out look up a license-it says no discipline no complaints that was good enough for me im happy to have found her she really cares!

Wow! Very educated Midwife, really goes above and beyond for her community. She helped was my midwife for both of my children and will be for my third. Comments as the one seen first on this page come from people who don't understand beyond the obvious and common sense. The thing about Joni is that she tells the truth, and most people like to have everything sugar coated. Joni has a fully equipped and well maintained office. It may not be as modern as homestead hospital but that's the point. It's supposed to feel like home. She is a wonderful midwife that knows what she's doing and has the balls to speak her mind. I will and have recommended Joni to others, 100% the best midwife in homestead!!!!!

Awful place. The lady that runs the place is not certified and the place is filthy.
