Adkins Lowell's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Lowell Adkins is a gifted doctor. I believe anything less than his excellence is unacceptable. I do feel he needs good staff to help him. It's a pandemic and he is exhausted. We can all relate to that.

How is this man even ALLOWED to practice medicine? I am starting to think that's a family member at the front the man named Terry. He clearly cannot handle his position and is severely overwhelmed, but it goes beyond. Have you ever had a doctor's office call you out of the blue accusing you of weird stuff? That's this office. Unprofessional to its core and Terry is driving it. I call and leave a message, have to wait two days to get back to Terry then Terry says "Oh I forgot to ask the Doc. He is doing it on purpose. That man had hate in his eyes when a patient walked in to report a violent assault. The Terry guy threw her out the door like a bouncer at a bad rave. From the patient: Women are helping me through this dark time. Women patients of Dr. Adkins because after I tried to report my attack, I realized this whole time Terry has been making me look so bad. That or this doctor doesn't have a clue how a doctor's office works. This is the worst doctor's office I have EVER had the misfortune of ever even hearing about, much less being forced to deal with. The doctor is usually a pleasure to meet with, however his Front Desk clerk is a nightmare of an intimidating Marshmallow that showed me real EVIL today. Terry, the guy up front, he is best avoided. Try to fax the doctor directly because Terry must have a personality disorder. I feel they are at their wits in with Omicron but this Terry has always been a nightmare and I suspected he has made my unfortunate time here even worse. He calls with wild accusations, he has treated me, a 40 yr old woman like a child. Today, 1/6/22, I saw TRUE EVIL in his eyes. Real hate. I don't think about this dude enough to hate or half the time even remember his name. BEST to avoid. I also overheard him telling a hysterical patient she was kicked out of the doctor's office for being late. He followed her out standing over her intimidating her laughed loudly when she said she was raped and Terry got an evil smile saying he was glad she was raped and she deserved it. PURE EVIL. Reporting to attorney and reporting to Board of Medicine. My experience has been, you are not getting your medication if you are not looking in the doctor's eyes while he sends it. Tues, Thurs, Sat, Sun out of the office and Terry will ALWAYS forget to pass along your message. You can be sure of it!! This is a 3 day a week doctor. Nobody should go here if you need to see a doctor regularly. He is not equipped. He needs to secretly record that Terry.

Dr.Adkins.I would recommend him to anyone is a very knowledgeable Dr with any health issues that you may have he takes the time to listen and explain everything about your health that you can understand.I would recommend him to anyone.His Staff members are really Great!! The Facility there is Always Clean.I am Blessed to have them as my Health Providers.

Worst doctor ever. Dangerous practices like not filling prescriptions that are mandatory & dangerous for you not to have. They say they will fill it & then you cannot reach them & there's no refill called in.

I was on time for my appointment but when I was assigned a examination room I waited 1 hour and never saw a doctor. I walked out and said I am not paying and my insurance is not paying. not acceptable

He's a really nice and competent doctor with, more important, a really efficient and pleasant staff.

Very slow service. Unprofessional!!!

I did have to wait quite awhile before he saw me (what else is new?), but I was impressed by his thoroughness in going over medical history et al. Instead of a 10-minute rushed visit (my previous experiences with doctors and specialists) he took his time and spent a good hour with me going over the details of my medical and family history. The office staff was also first class-- friendly, helpful and service oriented. I left confident I was in good hands.

When I began my search for a medicare Dr., I started with Dr. Atkins. Of all the Drs. I've seen in so. Fla. I liked him best. His staff is just great, and Dr. Atkins spends so much time with me, I trust that I am well taken care of. There's great gospel music ...feel like dancing...coming thru to each room. I was pleasantly surprised!!!!!
