Excellent doctor I was diagnosed with a macula detachment and was referred to the Advanced Retina Institute by my ophthalmologist. Dr. Danzig examined me at the retina center and explained my situation and that correcting it would require surgery. I was not ready to agree to surgery so we waited 6 weeks when I had a second visit. Dr. Danzig explained everything again to me in very clear terms and what were the risks and expectations and I then agreed to surgery. Everything went very smoothly. I consider Dr. Danzig an excellent doctor. He is very knowledgeable and skilled and a very good communicator. I would recommend him anyone to who has a retina issue.

Dr. Danzig saved my eyesight my eyesight… This man saved my eyesight. I developed a detached retina out of the blue, completely frightening experience. Dr. Danzig operated on my eye and repaired the detachment. That meant lining up the retina perfectly, which he was able to do and my eyesight was restored. I am filled with gratitude for him and his remarkable skill. In addition, he is also one of the nicest men I’ve met. He’s kind, filled with compassion and extremely generous with manner. I was so worried I’d never see again from that eye but he kept encouraging me, and he was right! I would recommend him to anyone, period, because he’s the best.

EYE HEALTH is OVERALL HEALTH EYES .. tell a doctor so much more than just vision, but EYE HEALTH, such as the NERVES and BLOOD VESSELS that supply the EYES DR DANZIG and his team look into your eyes to see (more than a window to your soul) but if your blood vessels are porous (do you have high blood pressure, Diabetes, or an imminent stroke)? The entire experience with him is about more than how well you see with or without glasses but how well your eye Health is because Eye Health can tell about your Overall Health. I've been going to RAND EYE INSTITUTE for 25 yrs, but didn't need Dr. Danzig till a few yrs ago when he diagnosed my Diabetes - he has been a life saver and an eye saver. He quickly enrolled me in a clinical trial and I've done my best to sing his praises because of his caring and expertise - with a medical background, I know a good clinician when I see one: HE IS IT .. not just for your eyes, but your Overall health. Be prepared for a 1 - 2 hr first visit (worth it). ~Miss E

Dr. Carl Danzig and the staff at The Rand Eye Institute are an amazing team of medical professionals. My personal case involved 2 severe retina detachments and without their dedication, care, surgical skill and specialized knowledge my eyesight would not have been restored. I am back to 20/30 and attest to their personal care and expertise. I wholeheartedly recommend their medical practice and wish you the best should you need their competence.

I had the privilege of meeting Dr. Carl Danzig in 2019 when I had a sudden onset of flashes, floaters, and one other worrisome condition. Prior to my appointment I read many reviews about the Dr. and felt that I would be in very good hands. Dr. Danzig far exceeded my expectations with his thorough examination, his explanation of my eye issues, and his treatment plan. He took his time and answered every question I had. I have had several follow up appointments with Dr. Danzig since 2019 and he has been 100% consistent in providing excellent care. Not only is he ranked very high in his field, he is also warm, kind, and approachable. He sincerely cares about his patients!! You will be in great hands with Dr. Danzig! Dr. Danzig treated me for several serious eye issues in June, 2019, and continues to treat and monitor me. He is the epitome of professionalism and is highly skilled. Great and kind individual -- brilliant Doctor who will "listen" to you, make you feel comfortable, and give you excellent care. I highly recommend him!
