Over 50 years of above excellent care Only negative is that there are not more M.D.'s like "Doc" Polito whose expertise and attention to the person as whole being, are not available. Keep up the great work Dr. Polito

My and I have been Dr. Polito's patients for over 20 years an we've always been satisfied with his level of care.

Dr. Polito is a great man and I believe he really cares about his patients. Unfortunately, the office and staff are terrible and he is a little too old school for me. Prescribed medicine that other doctors have said they no longer use because of it’s side effects, the floor and furniture is falling apart in the waiting room and the patient rooms. The front office staff is terribly rude. When I was in the waiting room, I listened to them talk negatively about multiple patients where anyone could hear them. Very unprofessional. They don’t even have a voicemail system or call answering service... the phone just goes to a busy signal and you have to call over and over to get a appointment.

Fantastic. He is caring hands on knows latest procedures. Went to him from 1980-2002. Moved to melbourne and couldn’t find an internist of his caliber until I met a doctor from lighthouse point

I have been a patient of Dr. Polito’s since 1980 and he has been a great physician. In 2005, I moved to NC for 15 years and couldn’t find a doctor of Dr. Polito’s caliber. In fact, I recently moved back to Florida and returned to Dr. Polito, who instantly found that I was in Atrial Fibrillation and congestive heart failure! He immediately sent me to the emergency room at Broward Health North where they have an excellent cardiology department. If it weren’t for Dr. James J. Polito, I could have easily had a major stroke or even died of a pulmonary embolism! Dr. Polito is a very skilled doctor and he knows which specialists to refer a patient to. He follows up and cares about his patients. He has every good quality that a patient could want and I am so grateful that I returned to his care. Additionally, Dr. Polito’s staff is of the highest quality and make visiting his office a pleasure! Thank you Doctor Polito! Thank you Jenifer (146), Sara, and Nurse Lesia!

This is the WORST place to go. This man has no care nor compassion for his clients. He is in and out. The office is unorganized. How does a pregnant woman see you from the beginning, and In the same month told that Dr. won’t be the delivering Dr. and you don’t get a chance to ACTUALLY MEET the new Dr!!!! If you plan a vacation a year in advance why not inform your clients so they can make a choice to stay or find someone who will be in attendance for the duration of the process. And to be told “your making something out of nothing” by the Dr. and the staff says “we are top of the line, try somewhere else and see the service you get” we would have been glad to do that if we knew months before this mess. I am super pissed and I’m the husband, imagine how my wife feels. And the Dr says oh I’m sorry I have to go and leave my wife in the room. Sad and bad business. Have concern for the way your pregnant clients feel with hormones and emotions on high. I am very upset, and unsatisfied.

Very careing Dr going to him for25 Yrs he keeps you healthy and well informed

Dr. Polito has been my primary care physician for more than 10 years. He knows what he is doing --- and knows when to tefe r efer out. Best of all, he listens!

I have been going to Dr. Polito for over 30 years and he has always been extremely knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. He listens to you, really listens to you. He explains things so that you can understand them. He is wonderful in every way.
