Holy Cross Hospital's Online Review Report Card

Okay had an LAD heart attack. Got the old stent in there and feel great. The best part of my two night stay was my night nurse in the cardi as c unit on the fifth floor Summer. Not only was she totally professional but very caring and attentive. But beat off all when she made her nightly rounds she never woke me up Ive not slept that well in over 20 years. All the staff top to bottom are great but sleeping was the best part and Summer made sure I was able to do so. Thanks KS again my family and I owe you

Went to ER at Holy Cross Back at the end of July. Went in because I was having seizure episodes and uncontrollable shaking headaches cramping lower back pain and I lost the use of my legs. I am also no permanently in a wheelchair. ER doctor told me he could do nothing but give me an anxiety pill and tell me to contact my neurologist in the morning. I informed him that my neurologist was in the hospital on call why don’t we call him. ER doctor refused. ER doctor stated there was nothing else they could do. Stated they where discharging me. Now I was having 30 episodes a day would u have discharged me with no diagnosis?Went to neurologist Dr Alameda who also did nothing about episodes except order MRI EEG xray and so fourth. Nothing showed up to explain episodes so he sent me home no diagnosis. Oh but he did tell me to see a psychiatrist.Now it’s October and the Pain Management PA is Floored that they still haven’t given me a diagnosis so he gives me one of CRPS type 2. I have now transferred to a neurologist outside of Holy Cross. My primary Doctor Buhain doesnt work but 2 days a week so I guess I will be transferring to a new physician outside Holy. I can’t believe how Holy Cross has really dropped the ball on this one.

I had a total Hysterectomy on Thursday October 14 2021 by Dr. G. Willy Davila…My experience from the time I registered and all through the surgery into the night hours was great…However when 730 am came…I got two nurses of which I had until I checked out were not caring…never came when I buzzed for them …Then an RN by the name of Laura came through and acknowledged any buzzes I had for help…The nurses that totally blew me off were…NISHON CLONISEExcept for these two individuals…my time at Holy Cross was excellent…Thank you

I had to go with a friend to the ER last night and we were very pleased with the prompt attention given by the nursing staff and the physician assistant Jake. This is my second time in the ER there over the past year and I am impressed by the care rendered.Michael Spivey MD

Last Week I had the worst experience at the Dorothy Mangarian Comprehensive women’s center I was scheduled a pelvic Ultrasound for 12pm …I was told to drink 32 oz of water at least one hour before procedure. I was left in waiting room with a full bladder for 1hr I paced and ask the reception person twice and the some staff entering radiology why I haven’t been call and it’s been one hour I explained that my bladder was about to explode Needless to say I was told to go to bathroom and urinate just a little To elevate the pressure on my bladder Meanwhile I had already waited one hr …I was very surprise on the negligence Of This clinic Not once did someone come out an apologize for the delay It felt like torture I like Holy Cross and it’s Dr’s but I was shocked and disturb on the lack of compassion from this group …I know The lack of staff isn’t helping anywhere …But pls remind your managers and staff to bemore compassionate hence “ operating in the im Spirit of the Sisters of Mercy “

Had triple coronary artery bypass surgery in mid August. Surgeon was Dr Justicz and his amazing team. Surgery was four hours three days in coronary ICU then to coronary care floor for four days and intensive rehab unit for two weeks. Total stay in hospital was 3 and 12 weeks. Staff were fantastic throughout my hospital stay. Now 10 weeks after surgery with followup  home health nurse physical therapy and occupational therapy I am well on my way to a full recovery so much better and very grateful. Looking forward to cardiac rehab II to get even stronger. Thank you Dr Justicz and all staff at Holy Cross Hospital. You are AMAZINGJudith Farber

The customer service sucks Mouseline the case manager needs to find customer service skills. She is very dry aggressive when she speaks. She was no help at all. I love the hospital it self but I advise noone to need advice or help

Today was the third time going to the emergency room for treatment. It has been 8 days since I went there for the first time and every time I’ve been rush thru the ER. because I have no insurance they are not giving me the attention or care I need to get better. I haven’t eat in 5 days and I’m very weak. I don’t understand what is wrong with this health system. I’m feeling like this hospital is bias with insured people. I hope I’ll get better. Btw my condition is not COVID related.

I have to call out one of the best nurses I have seen at Holy Cross Hospital nurse Micaela She has the most amazing personality and goes above and beyond even if some of the tasks werent part of her role. What an amazing person
