Holy Cross Hospital's Online Review Report Card

My daughter and I been going to this place for our annual monogram for years and weve never had any issues infact it was ALWAY a pleasure interacting with the staff ESPECIALLY Amy.About a month ago I got approved for the breast health program by Linda a day before my appointment I got a call from someone saying they have to approve me because they didnt get any information from Linda I would think if theyre all working together it would be easier to get the information from Linda the questions they asked I felt like I lost my pride and dignity and only for some woman to call me back and told me shed be happy to cancel my appointment just because I said I was uncomfortable with the questions they asked.

Everything is all in one central location. My doctors are across the street and around the corner. they draw blood work take xrays mammograms do bone density test MRI etc. love not having to travel all over Florida for testing. The turn around time for results is quick.

I dont recommend this place. Ive been going here for years for an annual check up however this time it was completely run differently. You can tell its being run by a different mgmt. co. When I arrived for my appt the receptionist was very pleasant the rest of the time there was not. Went there for an annual checkup. The Q A check in process was not friendly at all. The radiologist there Evelyn was very rude and had a terrible bed side manner. She was offended when I asked her how I can position better to help her in her imaging results and also to reduce discomfort she was causing. She told me I had done this many times before and quickly directed me to show me what was on her screen. I did not need all this from her. I trusted she was doing her job accordingly but apparently she got into a very defensive attitude which then made me second guess her competency as a caring and professional radiologist . Do yourself a favor and choose a different radiology center. Not worth it

I went to the pelvic rehab center and the therapist didnt know what she was doing. She asked me in each session what should we do today? and would make sighs of confusion. On the 4th visit she decided to involve my Dr. as she was stumped and I decided to not go back. Although I have insurance I got a bill for $3000 for 6 sessions. Im heartbroken...oh and good luck getting ahold of everyone in the office or the hospital I called daily to make sure my sessions were being covered at the rate they told me it would be and they never answered or returned my call. Now Im stuck with a bill and pain.

I was very happy seeing Dr Minda Niemark she has since left but I did see the dr that replaced her for my annual the lab sent my results 8 days ago and I was expecting a call from the dr for a follow up which I need it took 6 phone calls and finally a nurse calls me and says that i need a follow up yeah I knew that 8 days ago. Since Trinity has taken over the care at Holy Cross has declined greatly. I will once again be looking for another care provider.

Doctors and staff are friendly and professional and made me feel better.

Although not any of the technicians’ fault I waited almost 4 hours for a standard mammogram and ultrasound.When asked about timing it was punted as the other team’s fault. Facility either requires more staffing or scheduling of appointments that are consistent with amount of staff available no one should have to wait this long for procedures that are standard and important to a woman’s health.
