Holy Cross Hospital's Online Review Report Card

What a GREAT disappointment from a Catholic hospital. What horrible experience when my daughter was in the hospital regular and on the physical therapy floor For a while I thought they put her on a hospice floor where they let the patient die. Took her somewhere else and she's getting now a proper treatment. NEVER AGAIN WILL I TAKE A FAMILY MEMBER TO THIS HOSPITAL. I did complain and NOTHING was done.

Our doctor is affiliated and i believe an employee of Holy Cross Hospital, Ft. Lauderdale. People don't realize Holy Cross doctors' offices are often employed by the hospital. In our case I have pneumonia and feel horrendous. My doctor has yet to get the prescription called in - after 4 days - I went to the hospital to complain with regard to not being able to pick up my prescription -- and potentially be admitted --- but to see the people who take the complaint, I had to have an appointment. Either they have a lot of people complaining or they don't have the interest in hearing my complaint. I'm not going to an urgent care center to get the medication my doctor should have called in. I've had it with Holy Cross and their employed physicians.

These folks saved my life. Probably the best hospital I have ever been. Great doctors and people

I was admitted to Holy Cross Hospital 10/13/25 - 10/16/25 and let me just start by saying this has been the best Hospital I've ever been to! Starting with my neurologist Carolina Valdez, My EEG techs Danise, Daniel, Peter, My nurses Marjorie, Teresa, Tanisha, Elsa, and Laneisha all of these individuals treated me with exquisite care and reassured me with any questions or concerns I had. I was also given a detailed plan to prepare me the day I got discharged by Allan Ribbler who is a Clinical Neuropsychologist. My room was maintained and my bathroom was cleaned Daily. They have a variety of options for food that I've never seen on a hospital menu before, If you don't have a selective diet I'd suggest the quesadillas they were amazing! Whenever Food was severed it was served respectfully and professionally. My overall experience was amazing at Holy Cross Hospital I have no complains. Thank you to all who took care of me during my stay!!!

The most horrible experience in ER. The staff is inexperienced no bedside manner and way to young to be running the ER. It was like a ghost town no staff members to be found. Moved my family member to another hospital on a Friday night at 9pm that’s how bad it was. No one cares, bottom of the barrel staff. When pressure to help they all had an attitude. Everyone one of them. The security police officer told me he was more educated than me because he was a f-cking police officer while another security guard laughed at me over and over because I was upset that no one was helping my family member. It was like the worst of the worst in staff! Do not recommend.

I was at the Holy Cross Health Hospital yesterday and it was one of the best experiences that I have in any Broward County Hospital. Also want to highly recomend my Doctor Ahmed E Osman and specially thanks David Bonet for great health care, empathy and professionalism Please commend them for and excelent work.

I went today to the Holy Cross Hospital in Fort lauderdale for a Heart procedured the service was incredible and totally professional, most likely to the Doctor: Ahmed E Osman and special thanks to: Nurse David Bonet for great health care, empathy, and professionalism. Post op staff is so rude. I was totally aware, she treate post op patients like we we're stupid. I asked a few questions and she told a guy to take me, that I was a questioner. And her replies were rude sarcasm.

Care was horrible. Surgeon never called the family to tell us how the surgery went, that it was done that the patient was going to the room. Had to wait for the patient to wake up in the room to tell us. Took an hour and a half to two hours to get pain meds And emissions. Had the nerve to come ask for money the day after surgery while the patient was in severe pain and mostly out of it. Food took close to two hours to be delivered and if you ordered anything frozen, it was soup by the time it arrived to the room. Very poor service and care.
