Perhaps the worst possible hospital experience one could imagine. The medical care is inadequate at best, the nursing staff is on summary the absolute worst I've ever experienced. This evaluation has been validated by several people I've met who have had similar experiences at HCH. I will avoid this hospital at all cost.
I’ll be contacting my lawyers over the way you guys have treated my father after I left. That is absolutely unacceptable. Telling my father “you dont know how many people ive sent back to their countries for dialysis” First of all my father has been legal in this country since the 2000s. That is the most disgusting comment you could ever make towards a person. Second of all, I have never seen such a money hungry hospital in my life whatsoever, you should be absolutely ASHAMED. I hope this reaches the right person. Some of the nurses have been great and I’ll give them that credit 100% but thats absolutely disgusting.
I’m only giving 3 stars because one of the ladies at the visitor desk was rude and pushy when trying to get a guest pass to visit my son. People in that role need to be more compassionate and understanding, because us visitors have a lot going on while one of our loved ones are being cared for by nurses, doctors, and other staff. All other staff, even down to the environmental service workers, extremely nice, friendly, warm, compassionate, and respectful. Besides the visitor front desk, you will get the best care from this staff.
The doctors are outstanding, and they do an excellent job, which reassures patients about the quality of medical care provided. I had a procedure, and I had to sleep in the hospital for two nights. The food is notably better than any restaurant in the Las Olas area, which helped make my stay more comfortable. However, the staff responsible for appointments, questions, and billing-such as the reception desk and billing department-have been very poor. For example, delays in appointment scheduling and billing errors have been frequent. I don't know if it's a lack of proper training, poor management, or the wrong people being hired.
I stayed at Holy Cross Hospital for 11 days due to a serious health condition. I was truly amazed by the exceptional care and compassion I received from every nurse, doctor, and staff member. Everyone was professional, kind, attentive, and dedicated to making sure I received the best possible care. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your outstanding service, your compassion, and for saving my life. I will always be grateful.
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Max for the exceptional care and compassion he showed me. I arrived at the Holy Cross Emergency Room in Pompano Beach, Florida, on June 24, 2026, suffering from excruciating back pain and symptoms of a pinched nerve. He made the decision to admit me to the hospital so I could receive the care I truly needed. What touched me the most was that on July 1, 2026, several days after I was discharged following my back surgery--a laminectomy and microdiscectomy performed by neurosurgeon Dr. Moncman--he personally called to check on me and see how I was doing. That simple act of kindness meant the world to me and reminded me that there are still doctors who genuinely care about their patients beyond the hospital walls. I also want to sincerely thank the entire Emergency Department and hospital staff. Every doctor, nurse, technician, therapist, and staff member treated me with professionalism, kindness, patience, and compassion during one of the most difficult moments of my life. I wish I could remember everyone's names: Dr. K, Dr. Torres, Dr. Lynch, Dr. Isabella Mellits Lopez, Dr. Peavler, and my nurse for two days, Isabel A., who was kind, gentle, friendly, and professional. I had around five nurses during my stay, and every one of them was marvelous. Thank you for making me feel heard, cared for, and supported. I will never forget the outstanding care I received. May God bless each and every one of you for the incredible work you do every day.

This is the ice bag that I got for cryotherapy at Holy Cross Hospital for my Total Knee Replacement. The surgeon, the intake, the nurses, the Physical Therapy Staff are all excellent. Just imagine that this otherwise great orthopedic program could get so close to almost perfect but they let some genius decide to save money by denying patients the simple, basic, foundational and proper, post surgery process of EFFICACIOUSLY icing the injury. If you simply iced my knee this would be a 5 star review. TL/dr Some genius decided to save money by denying effective ice treatments to surgical
So refreshing to be in a hospital where the care can take a little stress off your shoulders. Nurses Kiera and Denise were excellent, kind, and attentive with my mother in law.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
