I’ve come here for multiple issues and have been visiting this office for about 4 years now. This orthopedic center was first recommended to me from my own husband’s great experience with ankle issues. I first went here for a broken toe and I’m now being seen for an ongoing arm issue. The staff is friendly and it’s easy to make an appointment. When you get to the office the experience is just as easy and the doctor spends ample time with you and you are taken care of in a timely manner. What’s also nice is they have an X ray machine and an MRI machine right on site super convenient. Such a great staff and doctors wish they did more than orthopedics!
I wrote a review for this business a few months ago based on my grandson visit with this Dr some years back not knowing what was ahead for me. I had surgery from this facility March 31 2022 what a big mistake. My surgery was to be at 8am that morning but was continually set back until 2pm. To make sure I could not canceled I was given a nerve block at 7am. I asked questions why my surgery was being set back and was given excuse after excuse. When I wanted to leave two people from administration came to see me and apologize for the Dr's action and made it clear it was out of their hands what was happening but wanted me to stay because of the nerve block. After the surgery I was in fir a rude awaking. Out of three months of post op care I only saw the dr once due to multiple cancelations and no explanations. Whenever I called and asked questions no communications at all no one called me back. My physical therapy was stopped at 5 weeks for a rotator cuff tear for my understanding takes at least 4-5 months of therapy and the Dr's office told my dr to tell me to do them at home on my own because they thought they were talking to the PT office until she repeatedly announced who she was and they apologize to her and finally gave her the ok to allow me to continue my therapy again. They were so horrible to me in that office except the receptionist. The hypocritical oath says first do no harm, so why would a dr that took that oath go out his way to do everything in his power to make sure I don't heal properly? What could I have done so bad to those people they would make my healing process my most painful. Be careful of the people you chose and depend on to give you the best care possible but don't.
The Receptionist welcome me for being the first time there and kindly helped me to fill out the forms. Dr. Shtick very professional and knowledgeable as well as the Office Manager show me the areas to go to Thank you all 🤗
The surgery on January 11, itself went well. I can walk. I can drive. Unfortunately, I have a common side effect of neuropathy-like feelings in my thigh and upper calf. It is worse than the pain that I experienced in my knee prior to the surgery. I have constant tingling, numbness, pain, feelings of electrical currents going through my thigh and upper calf, sharp jabs at times. My IT band feels like it’s as tight as a violin string. I have trouble sleeping without medication. I have read that all of this may go away in a few months or a year or never. I am now almost 3 months post-op. Had I known I was going to have this pain/constant discomfort, I’m not sure I would’ve had my knee replaced. Kevin Shrock in my opinion is an orthopedic surgeon, not what I would call a doctor. In my opinion, a doctor takes care of the whole person, not just a joint. I saw Shrock one time before surgery. I did not see him the day of surgery, or else I was under anesthesia. I did not see him while I was in the hospital overnight. I saw him one additional time in his office about a week after surgery. Other follow ups were with other doctors. Kevin Shrock loves to say that replacing a knee is as easy as replacing a tire. That is obviously true for the orthopedic surgeon, but not necessarily true for the patient at all.
Ihad total right knee replacement 01/21/2020 and left knee total replacement 02/16/2021. Both surgeries were spot-on, the medical, rehabilitation as well as pre and post Op staff at Broward Health were absolutely amazing. The Orthopedic team, office personnel, and rehab therapists sets the bar high, I couldn’t have made it this far without their support. If you’re considering having this surgery or any surgery come to their office, they will set your mind at ease.
I can't say enough wonderful things about the the doctors and staff at this practice. From the staff at the front desk to the nurses, the surgical coordinator, x-ray technician and the doctors, I wouldn't want anyone else to ever take care of me. Everyone in this office are not just professional but they are nice and caring as well. I've had to go in there for two different situations, one was a major trauma and one relatively minor. They took great care of me no matter how big or small the problem was. I wouldn't go to anyone else!
Great surgeon!!!. Very professional!!! Friendly and professional staff!!!!Thank you to each one of you!!!!. After seeing many surgeon I choose to have my surgery with him . I TRUST HIM !!!!!.
Dr. Shrock's office staff and Dr. Alent were extremly courteous and professional. I wouldly highly recommend their doctor's office. Thank you.
Dr. Shrock is the best. I had a total knee replacement and his skills are top drawer. Unfortunately I need the other knee done now and I would choose no other than him. His staff is attentive and helpful. I am so grateful to have found him.
I feel so lucky and blessed to have had Dr.Shrock do my full shoulder replacement. Dr. Shrock came highly Recommended to me when my son injured his knee. Dr. Shrock did his surgery and made sure his aftercare was well taken care of. When my shoulder got so bad, I called Dr. Shrock’s office about getting an appointment for him to look at my shoulder. I was granted an appointment immediately and the next thing I knew I was scheduled for surgery. A full shoulder replacement! I was nervous however Dr. shrock explained everything to me showing me my images on his iPad and exactly what he was going to do. The surgery was done at North Broward main hospital in Davie. I can only say that that hospital is a 5+Star facility! The staff was excellent in every manner! I had spoken to many people who have had shoulder replacements, had other doctor’s opinions, heard nightmare stories that I’ll never fully recover, however this is not true. I really believe it all about who does your surgery and your attitude. There are many Orthopedic doctors out there, but only 1 I would go to or recommend and that is Dr. Shrock. You really will be in good hands. It’s amazing!! Truly!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
