Sage Dental Of Downtown Fort Lauderdale's Online Review Report Card

I strongly advise against choosing this place. It's crucial to steer clear at all costs. While it may be within walking distance for Flagler Village residents, this establishment takes full advantage of both you and your insurance. They charge you, even for services covered by your insurance. Even if you explicitly state that they shouldn't perform anything not covered, they neglect the simple task of checking a website to clarify coverage. They proceed regardless and leave you to deal with it later, hoping you'll give in and pay for something you shouldn't have been billed for due to their failure to conduct basic research for the patient. Dr. Kuznia and her staff were extremely unpleasant. Save yourself the trouble and look for another dentist office, and steer clear of Sage altogether.

I have been a patient at Sage Dental Fort Lauderdale location for quite some years now. I have never really had an issue up until my visit today. Not sure what happened with the customer service in this place but I've never experienced such lousy and unprofessional people within the facility ever. I had a minor issue with my insurance that I tried settling days before my visit but was unable to. Called the office prior to the appointment to notify them my insurance was active and was told it wasn't. Tried explaining the issue with Kalyn (lady with NY accent) and she has such a condescending and annoyed tone to her voice and couldn't be anymore bothered with helping me. She basically tried to make me reschedule. So instead of offering to call insurance and assist me with this matter she had me call myself to verify. Had my insurance company called the dental office with me on the line all for the dental office to say they just now received the verification and I can indeed come in. Nobody bothered to call me back from the office and let me know everything was all good but I continued to the appointment anyway. I get to the appointment about 4 minutes late.. (10:34am) didn't get called back until after 10:55am. Receptionist took me to one room. People walked in and out of the room asking who I was and how I got back there. Nobody introduced themselves. One of the X-ray techs started doing something on the computer behind me and another assistant walked in and told her she was on the wrong persons account. Waited another 5 mins all for someone else to come and move me To another room. At this point it's passed 11:00am. The tech finally comes back to start my X-rays and 10 mins in another random woman comes in to tell her to stop doing the X-ray and continue it later so that my cleaning will be done. At that point I was fed up and demanded to be told what was going on and who these people were because it was so much back and forth and confusion going on that I was contemplating just getting up and leaving. All in all the service from the hygienist was fine.. just seemed a bit rushed. They ended up finishing my X-rays at the end. If it weren't for the huge mix up and the condescending attitude from the woman I spoke to at the front desk I'd return (which I think this was the office manager) however I'd rather go elsewhere to a nicer, cleaner facility, with professional office personnel and people who know wtf they're doing.

First off, Renee at the desk is one of my favorite people. She’s so kind and personable and I really genuinely enjoy talking to her. I have consistently had the best experiences since starting to come to Sage Dental about a year ago… and I hate the dentist… Diana, my hygienist and now who i hope to continue seeing each time i come in for a cleaning, made me feel super comfortable in a place that I usually wouldn’t feel comfortable. I forget who I had previously as a hygienist but she was the same way. Great people, great place, they make sure it’s affordable too. Originally came for a second opinion and what would’ve been $2000 at one dentist (a total scam at my dentist for life) was $100 here. Now I look forward to getting my teeth cleaned 😂 jk I don’t but you get what I mean ☺️

My hygenist makes me feel good when I do good by praising me. Making her job easier by doing my job of flossing and brushing daily is a a small part of what is keeping me motivated. Some days are hard to function so every bit helps. Really everyone in the office is so kind. I wish you still freely accepted cash though.

Always professional service, friendly/pleasant staff. Highly recommend Sage Dental.

The office manager Kaelynn is a real gem. God for bid you have a question about your service her answer is, you can go somewhere else. Whoever hired her should take a second look

the clerks continue to lie and deny . even the owner replied to my post he provided a fake responce email so the public reading his reply would think they really care..,all the want is to charge your insurance work they never did ! fraud ! bobby edington

Went for a regular checkup and was told I needed extensive cleanings and 8 crowns. 😅😅😅. Bye ✌️

people were very nice. I've never been so appalled at a dental office. They said I needed an extensive cleaning at 8 crowns. 8. I had no dental issues at my previous dentist during my last regular exam. We recently moved here and I was going in for a routine cleaning. Crazy

Total rip off !! Had my teeth cleaned two weeks ago and they charged me an extra extra $300 to deep clean just two teeth. Told me that was the total charge so I agreed. Then I get a bill for another hundred dollars on top of that so that is a total of $400 plus the 200 that my insurance company paid to just clean my teeth. When I tried to dispute it, they said that I had signed the fine print that it was just a guesstimate. When I asked the office manager, if I could speak to the doctor, she said absolutely not. The doctor would not discuss any billing issues even though she is my doctor and I am the patient. She was very rude and dismissive. Do not do not use sage dental unless you want to be ripped off. I have been a patient for eight years, so something is very wrong there now.
