Feels like I wasted A LOT of time. I am unsure how much info/background/awareness of an issue is looked into a patient before their appointment but I was referred to a cardiologist by my primary Dr. when the EKG test they preformed came out abnormal. I live in Miami and I was scheduled to have surgery within two weeks, Dr.Zachariah's office was the closest and only one available to take me in such short notice. I drove 40 mins to get there and paid my copay. Once there Dr.Zachariah did not take his own EKG test, took a look at the printed one I brought from my primary Dr. said I was generally healthy, suggested to just lose some weight, then referred me to get an echocardiogram on another day/time/location? What was the point of this visit that I drove 35 miles and paid for? I couldn't believe this was not part of my original appointment with Dr. Zachariah. Everything that was asked and communicated could of been done over the phone since there was no actual test performed. I took longer trying to get an echocardiogram scheduled at a hospital with help from administration at the front desk than I spent in the waiting room + speaking with the nurse and Dr.Zachariah. Getting all test and results to each of the doctors and places being referred to in time to get medical clearance in time for surgery was another stressful adventure. This comment is not based on Dr. Zachariah's competence as a medical doctor, I just feel that my situation was handled lackadaisically, which really infuriated me.

Dr. Zachariah has cared for my parents for many years. He is thorough and explains his findings clearly and easy to understand. His care is excellent.

My first visit and I am very impressed by this Cardiologist, from Dr Zachariah and all the staff...I regret not having come to him before...He didnt waste time in addressing my issues after taking his time to listen my concerns...my previous Dr at Hollycross Cardiology Associates do not compare at all, I am so glad that I came to Dr Zachariah...I highly recommend his practice AAAAAA++++++

I have been a continuing patient of Dr. Zachariah since 1998 -- over 23 years! When I was initially referred to him, I was told that Dr. Zachariah "hears things that no other cardiologist hears" and will give "the very best care possible." This is 100% true!
