I was very pleased with Dr Ameglio and his staff. His entire staff are the best. I especially am grateful for Val‘s help. I broke my elbow on Christmas day. I was told by two different doctors I would take 3 to 4 months to recover. I had surgery January 6th. I had my cast off and was back to life in less than two months. Dr Ameglio is so kind. He of course is a brilliant surgeon and doctor. If you need ortho surgery I for sure recommend Dr Ameglio. He and his staff are amazing! I also love his office. It felt like a spa. Very Zen. Thank You!

I’m so happy I found Dr. Ameglio and the Super Path method of hip replacement. After extensive research during a time of real discomfort and pain I finally found Dr. Ameglio right here in Fort Myers where I live! This method is the only way to go. I use the analogy to compare it to the other methods of hip replacement like anterior or posterior where you get a mosquito with a hammer instead of a newspaper! This method of Super Path allows for a much quicker recovery time. It’s been a little over 4 weeks and I’m walking around the block, shopping and standing and swimming. Sure, it’s still a big surgery, but I’m so glad I didn’t go with the older methods after talking to people and reading about their recovery times. The Staff was incredible and Dr. Ameglio is a special yet modest surgeon with great experience and knowledge.

Dr Ameglio & His staff are excellent.He did super path total hip replacement & I was back to normal in 3 weeks.I will recommend him to everyone that needs a hip replaced.

Dr. Ameglio has a great personality but unfortunately he never discussed my X-rays with me , that his staff ordered. He gave me a brief physical examination and started steroid injections. I did explain of my past herniated disc surgery and mentioned that my pain closely matched those experiences of a decade ago. The office also ignored repeated requests for pain medications. He’s given up after one steroid injection and referring me to a Pain Management practice. Why not a surgeon with herniated disc experience? I’m very disappointed with the care received.

After suffering in pain for many years and receiving injection after injection with another orthopedic I sought out the help of Dr Amiglio and his staff and was immediately informed of the S.I joint fusion and confronted with the reality of my condition. After being informed of the proper procedure the staff quickly sought out approval from my insurance company which we all know can be difficult at times, they even brought in another company to help with the approval. Once the date was set and the procedure was completed I felt so much relief. Aside from the normal aches due to the recovery process I was walking four days later under my own steam and after a week and a half most if not all the pain was gone. I am very grateful to everyone at his office and I’m actually returning rather quickly to have my right hip replaced. Thank you so much to Dr. Amiglio, Valerie, Louise and everyone in office. My quality of life has been greatly improved and I am grateful beyond words.

Dr Ameglio and his staff were exceptional. Considerate, caring, knew my name and treated me like family. I had my left hip replaced 10 years ago, and the right hip was now progressing rapidly toward replacement. I consulted with two other doctors prior to 'finding' Dr Ameglio, about whether or not to 'get the right one done'? He covered all of the options and left the decision up to me. Wow, what a difference the 'Super-path' proceedure has made. The recovery time was amazing. I was walking without a walker or cane within two weeks all with little to no pain. Again, the combination of a caring surgeon and a truly revolutionary procedure can't be beat. Obviously, I highly recommend Dr. Ameglio.

Dr. Ameglio and his staff were great. And I do appreciate their kindness and patience in dealing with probably one of the toughest patients, ME! Thank you all. Dr. Ameglio was excellent as was his staff! Dr. Ameglio gave me plenty of time to discuss my issues. He was very professional, kind and great at explaining my condition.

Dr. Ameglio and his team continue to amaze me. My first experience was having a hip replaced using his Super Path method achieving truly successful results with little or no restrictions. Now, I started experiencing severe SI pain which initially required 2 SI joint injections. When the pain returned, Dr. Ameglio suggested I consider the iFuse Implant System. I just had this procedure done as an outpatient with great results. My pain is gone! I sincerely recommend Dr. Ameglio for individuals requiring any orthopedic issue.

In one word....OUTSTANDING!!! Dr. Ameglio performed the Super Path method on my right hip and my expectations have been exceeded exponentially! I went from using a walker for about a week to a cane and then unassisted after 3 weeks. Having less restrictions (bending, etc.) was such a plus in my recovery. After only a few days, I was only using Tylenol for pain. Dr. Ameglio answered all my questions and I never felt rushed during my appointment. This procedure is a game changer for anyone considering hip replacement surgery!
