Don’t go.This doctor was referred by the hospital. I called and they told me I could not go because I did not have a serious illness like cancer. I told them they were referred by the hospital but that it was. Ok and I was to contact another doctor. The day after they called telling me I could go. I went and the only thing this doctor did was the check the MRI from the hospital. He did not check or listen what I was saying and plus did not investigate any further. After a month or so I received an invoice with description “behavior change smoking”, not covered by insurance.I don’t smoke so I called asking to update the description with the correct explanation “gland swallowing -this was the real issue- and send it again to the insurance. They told me the doctor instructed me about smoking 🙄 I told them I don’t smoke and that was not the reason, the reason reason was that I end up at the hospital because my glands were swallowing. They said they were going to check with the manager. After two weeks, yesterday, I received the same invoice.I will probably stop by to the hospital telling then to not refer this doctor going forward.My glands are still swallowing and I had to go to another doctor.

As a new patient, I must say the office staff was great. The medical staff outstanding. Dr. Anfuso, displays confidence and knowledge all while being down to earth and easy to communicate. His patients, me include are stressed going in the door. He made me feel at ease during a very trying time.

Dr. Anfuso is a true miracle worker and he exudes confidence and trust to his patients.

He did not 'hear' me when I told him my symptoms and prescribed medication for a condition I knew I didn't have. He didn't seem to 'listen' to what I was telling him but rather told me what I was feeling as far as symptoms, which I wasn't. Seeking second opinion as I have no confidence in Dr Anfuso.

Dr. Anfuso removed a cancerous tumor from my tongue. He rebuilt my tongue in a surgery that took 11 hours. That was Jan. 8, 2018. I am doing great and so grateful for having such a gifted surgeon.

Dr. Anfuso is very thorough and knowledgeable. Coming from Fox Chase Cancer center and relocating into Ft Myers I am glad that I can feel safe with the Dr.'s that my primary has recommended have been great.

Dr Anfuso's office was amazing. The office mgr stayed with us on the phone for 45 minutes getting us a referral to an Ocoligust. Their customer satisfaction was awesome. Dr Anfuso got on the phone and assisted getting the referral.
