List of Daniel Axelrod's Reviews
he spends time with me and is very patient
Dr. Axelrod was my 1st Dr when I moved to Florida in 2001 he was the best Dr I’ve ever had. Very thorough with my health and a very courteous Dr with a great personality. I had to find another Dr only because of a job change. Now I’m able to go to him again and I absolutely will
Staff had a memory impaired patient sign a new medical proxy when he was all alone that did match his prior one It not have his family on it. They forced my dad to sign a new proxy in order to see the doctor he had no idea what he signed. Chronic medical conditions such arterial stenosis were ignored for a year until the clogged veins completely closed. Follow up care would have easily fixed the problem in time with a vascular procedure. Now patients arm is stuck extremely swollen with no where for the fluid to go. Patient had no cell phone or home phone and office could have only called his wife. Wife never went with husband to his doctors appointments even though he needed help yet doctors office never called the daughter or son.Office never called daughter or son even after Social Services was called out for possible abuse. The Social worker called the doctors office to investigate abuse and they still never called patients daughter or son. This office took care of my dad for over 10 years and should have cared enough about a man in end state 5 dialysis who has had 2 strokes to and sure all his follow up care was being handled.
Dr. Axelrod takes the time to listen to his patients.
Disappointed with the results from an recommended MRI exam. Exam completed two weeks ago without results. Dr. Alexrod seems to be highly dependent upon his nursing staff for reporting inclusive exam information. Within IMA Dr. Axelrod seems to be highly rated perhaps unjustly. I will be looking for an alternative internist that is more responsive to the care and treatment of individuals.
Dr. Axelrod is the best. He is cautious but makes the right decisions. One of his assistants Jan is a bit aggressive and impolite but the Doctor himself is a professional in every respect.
Dr. Axelrod is simply an outstanding family doctor. He is caring and professional and my family would never thing of switching to another GP. Unfortunately his support staff are not up to his level of excellence especially his PA naned Jan who is rude discouteous and ver aggressive on the phhone and in person.
Dr Axelrod was my primary care provider for the past 6 years. He was always attentive and openly discussed matters and answered questions without boundaries. Appointments were sometimes difficult to fit my schedule but I always got an appointment. His staff was always supportive and friendly. I have now relocated to Melbourne FL and hope to locate a primary care physician with the same confidence and caring personality as Dr Axelrod. I would recommend Dr Axelrod anytime.
Dr. Axelrod is an excellent physician. My husband and I chose him for our primary care and are very blessed to have him. His staff and assistants are very friendly accommodating and reassuring. We would highly recommend him to our friends and family.
Doctor listens to what you have to say. Very patient and takes the time to get to know you and what your problem is. Never rushes you out of his office. Very knowledgeable.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
