List of Eliot B. Hoffman Md's Reviews
Very kind and caring Doctor.
I have been a patient of Dr. Hoffman's for eleven years. I have always gotten the absolute best care from him. I totally trust his answers and have the upmost faith in what he is telling me. Another huge plus for me is the have then best run office. I have never had to wait for my appointment more than a couple of minutes. A huge plus in my book.
Am very happy with Dr. Hoffman's expertise and care but today my husband had an appointment and i asked to go in with him as he does nit ask questions or understand when they tell him something. Last time cane home with new meds - he wasn't sure what they were for and a request for bloodwork that he wasn't sure why he needed it. I can understand COVID restrictions but when someone needs help you should be allowed to go in. Unnecessary stress about whether he is getting best treatment.
Dr. Hoffman has been my cardiologist for 8 years and I have always received the upmost quality care from him and his staff. He keeps me alive and I am extremely pleased with his work and that of his staff. I highly recommend him as a cardiologist.
My husband became worse then when he first went in. Went to see another doctor and he is now fine.
uncaring doctor and staff, I will leave it at that
Dr. Hoffman appears to be competent although in the years I have been a patient nothing of consequence has tested his skill level. The billing department is a whole different issue. Dating back better than a year I had a $2.87 charge that was not covered by my my $50.00 copay or insurance. I got a dunning letter threatening me with a collection agency. I called, got an answering machine and requested a callback to explain the collection threat over $2.87. No response. Just received a more threatening missive that not only would the collection people be pursuing me, “You May occur additional costs and be reported to a National Credit Reporting Agency.” I called the office and spoke to Jackie whom I believe is the Big Office Kahuna. The net of the conversation was that I either pay the $2.87 charge or face the music. I encouraged them to sue and I resigned as a patient. Respectfully submitted, Duncan
Staff is great. Doc is great. Have been a patient for 14 years after a heart attack
Bad bedside manner. No patience for the elderly. Dismissed my mother from the hospital without performing any tests. Her primary had to order the tests done. Then Dr. Hoffman would not give my mother an appointment because he said she is fine. She has life threatening symptoms and he refused her an appointment. Did he or did he not take a doctors oath? My mother has complications from congestive heart failure and was refused medical treatment. No stars for him but sight will not allow that so he did not earn the ratings he got from my family.
Listen to you. Always very interested in you. Staff is great.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
