Fred J. Burford's Online Review Report Card

On February 15th, my father went to Ft Myers ER with chest pain. He had some labs done, but as soon as he said he had a history of heartburn, it was like they had their diagnosis and stopped looking at his heart. Ft Myers hospital sent him home to follow up with his dr the next day. On February 16, my dad went the Fred Burford, he was again sent home with heartburn medication. He continued to have chest pain all evening till he had a massive heart attack. My mom did CPR on him, paramedics came quickly and worked on him for 30 minutes before he was pronounced dead.My father presented himself to Dr Burford with chest pain, and this sad excuse for a dr said he had heartburn. We should have sued him for malpractice, but my mom would not.

We were moved to Florida in 2019. and it was very difficult for us to find a doctor, who actually care about patient. Dr. Burford has been taking care of me and my wife Galina since February 2020. He is very prompt, caring and knowledgeable doctor. Doc. Burford and his PA spends a fair amount of time with patients and doesn't rush you out of door. He has help us a lot. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Burford and his stuff. We undoubtedly would recommend him to everyone who needs quality care.

This doesn't even deserve one star but I have to put something. I have never been so disgusted by a practice! They do not care to return calls in regards to their clients health and their well being. My mother-in-law is in the hospital and the physicians there have tried calling SEVERAL times to understand her condition and they have received nothing. Not even the nurse returning their call. Very poor service. Will never recommend nor will I EVER have my mother-in-law return to this crooked practice!

Dr. Burford is very caring and knowledgeable. I also like his staff.

Dr Burford has been my husbands doctor for many, many years. My husband has stayed with him through many different affiliations. It is truly unfortunate that a doctor as good as Dr Burford is has to be saddled with the poor support staff provided by his affiliation with Millennium Physicians Group. The staff is ever changing, the turn over rate seems astronomical and none of the support staff act as if they give a tinkers damn about the patients. It is impossible to get anyone on the phone, to get a prescription refilled without having to drive across the county and basically refuse to leave until you get it and today, the Millennium Lab called to say that his support staff did not send the proper paperwork for the blood work he ordered, so even though they did the blood test, the lab won't release it to the Millennium physician (Burford) until the proper paperwork is submitted. It is very disconcerting to call the scheduling number, relate the problem and have them tell you there is little that they can do to help. If I could give less than one star for the Millenium service I would. Truly unfortunate for a 5 star doctor....

Dr Burford is awesome and has been for the past 22 years< attentive and knowledgeable would not trust anyone else.

Hi to all out there it looks like Bob has a axe to grind everyone knows the kind My wife has had a great experience with Dr Burford he is a Dr who cares and takes his time to help you understand what is going on with you. You don’t find many Dr.s who do that today

The best primary care doctor I have ever been to. He is thorough, spends a fair amount of time with patients and doesn't rush you in and out the door. I will never see another physician. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Burford!
